My husband and I stopped here for a bite after a long day. Chilled white wine was served in a stemless wine glass. We ordered... the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. The dip was unpleasantly spicy and very thick. The bread that came with it wasregular garlic bread with no garlic flavor. We both got chicken Parm, one with Alfredo and the other with marinara. Both werebland two dimensional with no flavor and an overwhelming amount of pasta. No veggies just chicken and noodles and slices ofmotzerella only over the chicken. The chicken tasted bland and soggy. The staff was nice enough to but will not be going back. Read more

The Casa is, hands down, my most favorite restaurant in the world. Which is a real problem since I live near Lansing, Michigan,... and the Casa is located in Marquette. But, my wife and I had occasion to spend some time in Marquette last week and took fulladvantage of our time there and ended up having dinner at the Casa three nights in a row! So, what makes it my favorite? Firstof all, the Casa is a very nice restaurant. Elegant, without being stuffy. It's perfect for a date night, but wouldn't be a badchoice for the entire family. Their menu is, obviously, Italian. But it's authentic Italian, with every dish holding true to itsheritage. In my opinion, two items, from a menu with no bad choices, that are out-of-bounds outstanding, are the bread, andtheir meat sauce. The bread normally comes with each meal. It's a medium large loaf, suitable for sharing (but you won't wantto), literally soaked in butter. There is nothing like this bread anywhere. I can't stress enough how over the top this breadis. And second is the meat sauce. I normally order spaghetti, and select the meat sauce to go with it. It is awesome! Withoutquestion, the best spaghetti I've ever had anywhere. Our server, different each night, was always prompt, friendly, and veryattentive. Bottom line, the ambience is right, the service is right, the prices are right, and the food is outstanding. An easyand well earned five stars. I only wish I lived there. ???? Read more

So happy we stopped in! The meatballs are to die for. I would highly recommend them in meat sauce over your choice of pasta. The... garlic bread is just as good as everyone has mentioned; really like their marinara as well. The Alfredo was ok but I’ddefinitely stick with the red sauce as it tops it! Very cute place and delicious. Read more

Oh my! They can seat large parties without a reservation on Thursday night. I would highly recommend a reservation though. ... Everything we tried was delicious and the garlic bread is the best. They brought us 6 more huge Thick slices that we couldn'teven begin to eat. Took them home and they heat up really well the next day and actually this is the 3rd day! hehe The waitstaff is super friendly, cheerful and they know the menu and make great recommendations. Save room for desert too. Read more

We had a large group. They were very busy. AWESOME: garlic bread. GOOD: lasagna, steak, chicken parmesan, Italian sausage. ... OK: The shrimp smelled and tasted a little fishy, The chicken came out dry but they remade it and it was good, shrimp fettuccinealfredo was okay but adding extra sauce made it good. BAD: strawberry daiquiri and pina colada had with very little alcohol init they tasted virgin. Didn't have many veggies on the menu. Missed the normal vegetables like capers and spinach. UGLY: none, over all a great meal and experience. Read more

My husband and I were visiting Marquette for the first time for our wedding anniversary. We love dining at Italian restaurants.... I am Italian, raised in Brooklyn NY, and cook mostly every day at home. There were a few Italian options in town (though nonehad Seafood Pasta). This place seemed to have the best variety. My husband ordered the Minestrone Soup and Chicken Parmesan. Iordered a Caesar salad and Cheese Ravioli with Meat Sauce. We ordered a bottle of dry Red wine as well. Let's break itdown: Atmosphere - loved the cleanliness, decor, and general vibe of the restaurant. It seemed that many locals eat here also -so that says a lot of the place. Staff - very friendly and helpful (choosing menu items). They also quickly jumped in andhelped each other out so all customers were cared for. Price - it seemed a little pricey, but to be honest - prices were higherhere (Marquette Michigan) across the board compared to Indiana. Food - Minestrone Soup - my husband said it was "ok". Smallportion and not very exciting. He said he wouldn't order it again. Chicken Parmesan - my husband said that it was very good.Good portion of chicken and plenty of pasta. He did mention that he wished he chose meat sauce like I did (doesn't like chunkymarinara). He would order this again. Caesar salad - greens were ok, croutons were good, shavings of Parmesan were rubbery, dressing bland. Wouldn't order it again. Cheese Ravioli w. Meat sauce - healthy portion of ravioli. The server said it washomemade ravioli (did not have that fresh homemade pasta taste & texture). Ravioli had great flavor. Meat sauce was ok. Not verymuch meat, but flavor of sauce was good. I would order this again. Bread - not a fan. It was similar to Texas toast, notItalian bread. I asked for some without the melted garlic butter (way too much on it) and it was better, but I was charged extrafor the bread. Wine - we ordered a spicy Cabernet Savignon. It was delicious! Overall, we enjoyed our dinner a Read more

Two stars because our server Alexis was very friendly and everything came out relatively quick! First, we got the Pizza Puffs... for an appetizer, they were raw dough on the inside. I got an antipasto salad, and it was just okay. The lettuce seemed old, itwas all very limp and soggy like. For my entree, I got the lasagna… it was so greasy, watery and full of globs of cheese. Iordered it with meat sauce and there was hardly any meat at all in this dish. There were also very few noodles that I had topoke around for with my fork. I had this lasagna last summer and LOVED it, so I figured I would get it again since we are backin Marquette this summer. I’m so sad and disappointed. I also wanted to mention that there is an inch of dust on the ledge, next to the booths that we sat in. Read more
