A true gem of Marquette. It was our anniversary and there was a card for us at the table signed by the staff and owners. Nice... touch of class. Sensational food I had scallops with the smoothest cauli purée I have ever had. My husband had steak, perfectand tender. We had the chocolate trio, highly recommended. My wife and I come here every time we are in Marquette. We love it. I always get the ribeye cooked Pittsburgh blue on the... Himalayan Salt. The salt is definitely a different way of doing things. It is certainly worth trying at least once (Ive had it3 times), but I think I like it better on a normal plate. My wife usually gets the Lake Superior Whitefish and always enjoysit. Personally, I believe it is the nicest restaurant in Marquette. I usually dress with slacks and a dress shirt, and Ibelieve that fits the environment of this place. However, I understand Marquette is a vacation spot and most people don'twear/bring those type of things on vacation so they allow people in shorts and vacation attire. We just went to Elizabeth’s to celebrate our one year anniversary, and my brother’s birthday - and it was fantastic!! We... visited for our first time last year on our honeymoon, and have been thinking about it ever since! This time we asked to be inthe patio and let them know it was our anniversary, so we had a beautiful view of the lake, and a very sweet card from all thestaff. Our food was once again amazing! Visiting my dad and he’s been raving about their broccoli Alfredo dish. Ordered two to go and neither one had Alfredo sauce.... They also had other vegetables in them, which my dad said has not happened to him all the years he’s been going. Probablywould be giving 5 stars if the dishes were made correctly. Read more
We came to Elizabeth's to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was wonderful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy... and warm, and the staff were very friendly from our first step into the restaurant. At the door the greeter welcomed us anddirected us to the area where we were asked if we had a reservation (we did.) We were shown to our table, which had a great viewof Lake Superior. On the table was a card signed by all of the staff wishing us a happy anniversary, a very nice unexpectedtouch. Our server, Callie, was very nice and helpful. She was friendly and always there if we needed her. Our food wasfantastic! We had surf and turf; the steaks were cooked exactly as we asked, and the lobster tail was superb. The shrimp wasalso good, but paled in comparison to the lobster. The grilled Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the baked potato wasperfect. Such a disappointment! The inside of the menu talks about how the owners (husband and wife), how he loves to cook and she is all... about the customer experience so it’s a great blend. What a joke. The food was horrible and the service not much better. Theyadvertise also in the menu a crab cake that is 90% crab, no….. 90% breading and a small amount of crab. The rib eye was ahorrible cut of meat with not much flavor and the blackened salmon was burnt. The table next to us was a large party of 8 andthey were so loud that the table behind them moved because no one wanted to tell them to lower their voices. It took us over anhour to just get our salads, and drinks were a joke. For a $170 bill I would expect better food and service, don’t waste yourtime or money at this place. Read more
Phenomenal service, deliciously prepared appetizers, entrees and specialty cocktails. The view was spectacular as well. We... began with the Bacon wrapped Scallops and they were excellent. Ordering the Filet and twice baked potatoes and my wife thewhite fish we were delighted. The service was superb, the best we have seen. Congratulations to the staff, management andowners. What an awesome experience! Our waiter, Donny (hopefully I’m spelling it right,) was incredible! The food was incredible! And... the price was reasonable for what we got.
