Had a 6 hr drive home , couldnt wait to try them all. They look AMAZING...right? WRONG!!! DRY, DRY, DRY....really great... flavors, but everything was dry and unedible except the Boston Cream. It was tolerable. The chocolate croissant and almondcroissant, both my husband and I agreed they were the WORST... by far... that we've ever had... EVER. HEAVY HOCKEY PUCKS. Fantastic bakery, Tasty too. We decided on donuts. My son also got peanut butter and chocolate bar, very good. Also decided... since we had a busy day we were doing. We chose to grab two off their sandwiches for our lunch. He choose the Italian, verygood. I chose the isle royal, very tasty too. Read more

We?re new to the area and I called around to all of the bakeries in Marquette and could not find someone that could make a... custom cake I needed for my sisters birthday. I took my shot and called Huron Mountain Bakery. I spoke with Joe and assured methat they would be able to make a vanilla frosted, sloth marble cake and let me tell you - I was absolutely blown away when Iwent to go pick up the cake and so was everyone else in the bakery. The cake was beautifully decorated, and the actual cake wasdivine. My family LOVED the cake, especially my sister. We look forward to ordering many more cakes from this bakery for futureevents - especially for my daughters first birthday. I also bought a dozen cakes that were also delicious. Our family LOVES Huron Mountain Bakery!! Every trip up to The U.P. we swing by for delicious donuts and pasties, desserts,... croissants & sandwiches. It's the perfect meeting spot for coffee and savory or sweets! 'The Huron' is our favorite sandwichwith avocado & honey mustard, turkey and veggies on a croissant. But there is easily an option for everyone! The 'Ham & Swiss'croissants are easily our favorite, but they had a 'Vegetarian' and 'Spinach & Feta' for savory options as well. Of course, theyhave a chocolate croissant, an apple & blueberry cream cheese I believe. The donuts are massive, light, airy and full offlavor! And, as you can see, the cheesecake is too good to wait for! Creamy, sweet, perfectly paired with a raspberrysauce. Stop by, I believe they have a sister location in Ishpeming as well.! Extremely tasty canolis and eclairs. Also have great sandwiches, donuts ,bagels and loaves of bread baked fresh daily ????. Is... on the right side of Us-41 just before the first traffic circle when you are going north on 41. Four of us came all the way from St.Louis for the hiking adventures and was looking forward to this bakery stop. It far exceeded... every expectation. The baked goods were amazing, as was the sandwich that I got to take home. The best part of our experiencethough was the incredible staff. Very friendly, helpful and attentive.
