Never had a pasty before as I?m not from the area, and this was the first place I landed on. Went in without expectations and... came out having my expectations thoroughly exceeded. Got the vegetable pasty, such a good, deeply flavored dish. Layers ofdeliciousness and melted feta cheese and nice flaky crust. Wish these were popular where I live in Washington! AND SO CHEAP Icouldn?t believe it was only like $7.75 or so. I was expecting I?d need to buy two but one filled me up so perfectly. Definitelysomething I would expect to be ~$12. Read more

We ordered the regular pasty with the beef gravy. It was absolutely delicious. Small building with limited indoor and outdoor... seating but don't let that stop you. Quick service and friendly staff. We even purchased more to take home! Read more

Jean Kay?s is the absolute best pastie shop, my whole family?s favorite! Their gravy is super warm and delicious, and the veggie... pastie (which I?d highly recommend) even has cream cheese. On top of having the yummiest pasties in the UP, the people areextremely kind and welcoming. Great food, incredible atmosphere, and super cute indoor/outdoor seating. I love pasties. My family ordered pasties from different areas around the UP. Jean Kay's was the best out of all of them! We... decided to stop off and visit in person. The employees are amazingly nice, and the owner is extremely friendly. Also, if youguys don't want to go visit in person, the online ordering is completely worth it! I had an Italian sub during my visit, it wasrefreshing after eating nothing but tasteless dorm food the past 4 months. Very much worth it! Please show them some love! Read more

This placewasawesome. Spicy ketchup or gravy on a pastie... Both were good. Vegetarian pastie. Steak pastie with rutabegga. Or... steak pastie without ruttabega. The local candy shop sodas were amazing. We tried berry, black cherry, birch beer, and a grapesoda. We. Were like do yall ship to fl. And yes they do send em frozen and u can heat em up at home in ur oven.. Read more
