Want good food, don?t come here. Want a very bare minimum meal that has no love in it go here. NMU Dining is so disappointing.

I go here. Before covid it was great. Now... feel lucky if two of the stations are open. The quality of food has gone down... significantly to. As well as the size of the menu.(you'll find stir-fry, burgers, pizza and spaghetti 3-6 times a week. Grantedthey are low on staff, but I still pay the full price for the meal plan. Read more

The quality comes and goes, some days the only options are burgers that make me sick, vegan ?food,? awful pizza, or a salad. ... Breakfast slaps, IF you can manage to make it there in time. I pay about $1500 dollars more than it?s worth though and the factthat we eat off paper plates and plastic utensils is a slap in the face. Very clear that their whole budget is spent on parentsnight and the holiday dinner, leaving us with scraps the rest of the semester. This place is okay the first time you have it, not great food but okay. But then you eat here every day and you realize that... it?s the same food every single day. There?s no variation and the food selection is strange and very few people actually wantwhat they have. That is, if they have it. Today I walked into the dining hall for dinner expecting a barely edible burger,undercooked chicken, and maybe some overcooked pasta. What did I get? Nothing. Empty countertops everywhere. I had to sit at anempty table for 15 minutes before I saw any food. Once I finally got my hands on some though, it arrived in the form of nachos.A very small portion of nachos and a very small selection of available toppings. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It?s like prison food but worse. I am paying WAY to much for the quality of food. Also... everything is served on paper plates or in paper cups. Honestly service is good, people are friendly but the food is always coldand there are no options. Also everything is always out of order. I have eaten rotten lettuce on a salad before and the fruiteither taste frozen or 6 weeks old. It?s hard to get an actual meal at this place. If I would have know how bad the food wasbefore coming here I think I would have reconsidered me options. Overall, this dining has is trash compared to most colleges inMichigan. Great food. Every staff member there is friendly and helpful. You can basically get dozens of different foods there that taste... great. Healthy eating is easily done here or getting 4 slices of pizza and a Pepsi can be done also. I've done both. Read more

The saving grace of this places is that their fries are amazing. Their pizza is definitely subpar. The chicken breasts are... always a little cold. If you are a student here, go to the wildcat den instead. Their food is a lot better. Read more
