Came here on a Monday night and the place was packed and definitely under staffed. The waitress was doing her best but it still... took a very long time to get service. The menu only had a few options, and all items were priced at $30 per entree, a bit on thepricey side for a piece of pork. I had the pork schnitzel and a Michigan mule, both had very nice flavor. 7/24/22 My dinner was incredible. Best dinner I've had in years. I cook private events and cook/taste delicious food daily. This... stood out. Really was a truly special meal. Between the service and the quality of the meal, I was extremely impressed with this place. Quaint little gold mine Marquette... has going here. I heard they serve Ramen bowls during the week and German food on the weekends. What a cool adaptation to keepthe business coming! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Marquette. Read more
They have a few German beers on tap which aren't the usual German beers that everywhere else has, which is nice. It's a small... place so you might want to get a reservation. I had the Wurst plate which was pretty good but I think it was a bit pricey forwhat it was. They seem like they could use an additional server when we were there as the service was a bit slow, but was veryfriendly. Read more
If I could rate this place higher I would!! First let me say we went to Germany for our honeymoon, and the food here was 10x... better than anything we had in Germany. Very friendly staff, especially the bartender Alex (I hope that's his name, I'm sorry!).We sat at the bar for dinner and he made it an awesome experience. Even made me a mocktail in which I loved. 10/10 would highlyrecommend to anyone who loves food! Read more
There are so many amazing things about Marquette and this German restaurant is one of the best reasons to keep coming back on... our annual road trips to and from the cabin up north. This place makes amazing cocktails, homemade pretzels, Spätzle that Icannot stop eating no matter how full I get…the list goes on and on. I love this place. What an amazing and quaint dining experience. I took my wife and son here for breakfast before we hit the road to travel back... home from Marquette. The breakfast menu had a small list to choose from which we were perfectly fine with. My wife had theWurst Plate, my son had scrambled eggs with bacon, and I had the Country Fried Schnitzel. Let me tell you, the pics don't do thetaste of the food any justice. Everything was simply amazing. Let me not forget the coffee... Spectacular!!!
