Service was great! Garlic Bread, amazing... spaghetti with cream sauce.... the least flavorful cream sauce I have ever had. The... salad was as bland as one can get! Most disappointing meal in a long time. The waitress took my meal off, so that was at leastnice... I only took a couple bites of it and pushed to the end of the table. Read more

Very good Italian food, in a comfortable venue. Wait staff was terrific, food was prepared well, and portions were ample. I... enjoyed the spaghetti bowl with meat sauce, and the meatballs were on point. Pizza was a favorite for many folks as well. Theonly drawback would be the salad, no olives or other exciting veggies in the antipasto salad, just a basic iceberg lettuce saladand the meat. It as pricey as the options downtown, which is nice. Traditional immigrant Italian food in the UP! Great service as well! All in a timeless setting. Highly suggest!

Atmosphere feels a little godfather-y in a good way. Much love to local restaurants over places like Culver?s/Applebees/red... lobster, better vibes. Liked the food! Good thin crust pizza and garlic bread slaps Read more

Had gone here for years before moving across the country. Actually BETTER than I remember it being. For once I didn't set the... expectation higher than the reality. Read more

I get it. Everyone wants to dine downtown and wait an hour to be packed into a corner. We did too. But if you're willing to go... up the hill, you can get walk-in seating with great service and good Italian American comfort food. It's not going to reinventdining but you'll leave happy while others downtown are still waiting for a table Read more

We decided to give Villa Capri a try when we passed through Marquette in our way to Pictured Rocks, and we loved it. We like... good Italian food, and this cozy, nicely decorated restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food is obviously homemade withgreat care. The tomato sauce is delicately seasoned and the cheese raviolis that I enjoyed were a delight. I also had theminestrone soup, which was changed chock full of vegetables in a savory, rich base. The garlic bread is outstanding and thetasteful Italian music playing in the background provides a lovely lift. My husband had a thin crust pizza and remarked that itwas the best he has ever tasted. We shared a rice pudding for dessert, and it was fresh, creamy, and subtly flavored withcinnamon and whipped cream. It was not overly full of sugar like some bad desserts, you could taste the ingredients. Theservice was excellent and the ambience is friendly and relaxed. I wish we lived closer to Villa Capri so we could dine theremore often. Read more

You can't beat the atmosphere in there it's all very romantic and the food is excellent. I always get a steak and some pasta on... the side, the salads and garlic bread are great as well. It's a little busy in there so wait times can be long but it's worthit! Read more
