Had a nice dinner out with a party of 8. Nice friendly service, not precocious. Really enjoyed the pork chops with apples and... sweet potatoes. Others had the steak and cake which was well received too. Passed on the desserts though. Would go again,especially when someone else is buying! Read more
Excellent restaurant, food and staff. They were very accommodating of our varied palates. The cocktails were a little light on... the alcohol but definitely had flavor. The vibe is upscale food with small town comfort. I would not recommend for POCs becauseof the patrons, the staff are fine. Read more

I ate at Springfield twice during a trip to PA and both times our server went above and beyond. The first time I ordered the... ribeye, caeser salad and baked potato. After I place my order, the server came back very apologetic and said that they're outof the Caesar so I changed the Salad order. Next she came back and said the baked potatos were gone. She felt so badly that shecomped our fried zucchini app. Then I had to tell her that the steak was very tough and gristly so the manager came by toapologize and brought me a delicious sirloin strip steak. Our next visit for brunch and our server was Jason I believe who wasan absolute delight. He ran out of blueberry muffins and felt bad so he said he was buying us dessert. We chose a chocolatecheesecake to go and when he brought it he said he added the peanut butter pie as well as a treat for us. I have never hadservers offer us free food when something went wrong and it was so nice and definitely memorable. I think more restaurantsshould do this. It certainly made an impression on me and my family. Everything we had was great and I'm especially in lovewith the crispy fried zucchini. Can't wait to go back! Read more
