Fun atmosphere at Stellwagen! The outside back area is usually hopping in the warmer months. There is even a 21+ only area if... you don?t want to be around the young kids. However except for that area they are completely kid and dog friendly. A food truckis usually out front on the weekends as they don?t have a kitchen. They run weekly trivia and have football on the projectorinside on the weekends. Beer is solid, Marshvegas is my favorite. Read more

I?m giving the brewery 5 stars because it is awesome and the staff is so friendly!!! However, I have an issue with the parents... that decide to bring their kids here, and that is not the brewery staff?s fault. I went there today, and it felt like I was at adaycare center. Please for the love of God, leave the kids at home/hire a sitter/ whatever you gotta do! They are a buzzkill!Maybe there should be one family day a month or something to solve this issue. Read more

I wish I could rate Stellwagen higher, but the past few visits have been particularly unpleasant. The staff and the beer are... always excellent, but the amount of free range children lurking in the 21+ zones is enough to end my visits apart from can pickups. I have nothing against minor children at breweries as long as they are supervised and behaved, but over the course of 3 orso years worth of regular visits, the lack of supervision and enforcement of the 21+ areas has left a bad taste in my mouth. Doyourself a favor and grab a four pack at your local liquor store instead of patronizing the Marshfield location. Read more

Wish I could leave two reviews- one for the product and one for the clientele. Beer is good, staff is great, food truck... rotation is usually solid. However, the last few times we have visited the place was over run by elementary school agedchildren. Twice recently was what seemed like the entire Marshfield youth soccer league. I get the place needs to be familyfriendly but even the 21+ areas of the brewery are typically full of kids and their obliviously arrogant parents that let theirkids run around with no consequence. It?s backwards when a business that makes alcoholic beverages has a small outdoor sectionand back room for 21+ instead of having a smaller family section. We?ll still be getting cans to go but it?s no longer enjoyableto visit the taproom. Even the staff seems to be bothered by the amount of kids based off of comments made when we ask what?sgoing on. Great space, dog friendly inside and out. Lots of yard games, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and areas for small gatherings.... Beer is delicious and there's a great selection. Would definitely come back! Read more

Plenty of tasty brews, including FROZEN BEERS! Like, from a slushie machine. Absolutely awesome. They've got a great combination... of everyday staple beers, and hip with the time beers ("On Trend" is a little on the nose but 100% accurate). Cool industrialbrewery space, with all the wonderful hop/malt/yeast aromas that come with it. Read more

Decent selection of beers, just don?t have as cool of a vibe as other breweries. A little too open/bright/quiet like a hospital... that happens to have TVs and beers Read more

I loved it! Great beers, helpful staff and the typical independent brewery atmosphere. It was also quite spacious without it... being too big. My only regret was that I couldn?t stay longer on my passing by from Cape Cod to Boston Logan. Read more
