The clam chowder had an overpowering bacon taste which canceled out most of the seafood taste which was desired. The fried... scallops were nearly tasteless. They were eaten. The broiled scallops were completely tasteless and had to be sent back. Servicewas very slow. Read more

We eat here fairly frequently and I try to write a review each time because I think it?s important for all of us who love to... dine out. First our server Lauren was really terrific.. she was just attentive enough to make us feel like she cared how we weredoing but not over doing it. ???? The food was really yummy as usual but just not hot enough for us. We love our food really hotand right off the line so just a bit disappointed. We want it from the oven or grill to our table. Will always go back becauseit is always worth coming for either lunch or dinner?.. Rita and David Read more

My three sisters and I got together for dinner on Thursday, 9/1 at The Grill at Fairview. We have all been there on several... occasions and although the menu is limited, the food has always been really good and consistent. Three of us ordered the ShortRibs (my favorite) and one ordered the Sirloin (med-rare). When the food arrived, it was served by someone other than ourserver and immediately, I noticed that it was not what I usually order. There was absolutely no Bordelaise sauce on the ribs;they were not even browned and whatever juice was in the dish, was clear and watery. The mashed potatoes are usually creamy andmelt in your mouth, but what we got was an ice cream scoop of hard mashed potatoes. The spinach was the only thing on the platethat was recognizable from the several other times that I've ordered the dish. My sister's sirloin was med-well at best with onethird of it so charred, it was not palatable. So DISAPPOINTING all around. Meanwhile, our server was waiting on a large party ofabout 15 people who were seated after we ordered (as well as other parties). I know that places are short staffed and we have tobe patient, but by the time she came over to check on us, it was too late. I barely ate any of my dinner. My sister told theserver, when she finally came over, that the steak was overcooked - I mean there was barely any pink even in the thickest part -and we were not happy at all with the ribs. She apologized and said that Arty was not the chef tonight. We ordered one dessertto split which the server took off our bill to make up for our bad experience. Love getting together with my sisters, which isnot often since was don't all live in the same state, and while we enjoyed each other's company, the meal was a real downer. Read more

Wow. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the portions were big, the service was great, and it all came quickly. Jack... M. was our waiter, he was super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back to this place next time I'm in town. Read more

We had the pleasure of dining in this unique restaurant a few weeks ago and will look forward to the next trip. We started... with the stuffed mushrooms which had a unique flavor the we loved and we couldn't resist trying the clam chowder. I barely gotany chowder as my wife and son are it all up. My son had the maple fish and just decided it... He is 7 and getting him toorder something healthy is a challenge. He wanted to return the next day it was so good. I had a simple shrimp salad, but thechef created a masterpiece. We finished the meal with the chocolate cake. Glad we planned on sharing as we had to take somehome it was so large. If you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend doing for a meal. Read more
