Marsing is a tiny community on the Snake River just outside Nampa, Idaho. The town is a throughback to another era. And the... restaurant is quaint and dated. But the food is delicious, the folks there deliver old world charm and service that is usuallygone from today's chain restaurant fair. I recommend you take the time and drive out there. Three of us ordered Beef Nachos (cost is $11.00 each) to go. Needless to say we should have checked at the restaurant. What we... got was chicken. I hate chicken so didn't eat much. When I mentioned it the next time I stopped in there was a flippant apology.I explained it was the second time it's happened to me but that didn't seem to matter. I will never go back. Read more

Stopped by for lunch and had carne asada tacos and coffee. I thought the asada was really flavorful. The coffee was a little off... for me. It reminded me of the smell of toilet water so I couldn't drink it. Other then that, I enjoyed my experience. Thewaitress was shy and sweet. I'd come back just to support a local rural business.
