Decided to try the sweet cream cold brew coffee here and Alicia did not disappoint. That coffee was on point and normally I?m... not a huge fan but she kills it when making these drinks. The food was good but it took a little while to come out. The place was busy but the wait wasnt too long.
Really disappointed in this Bob Evan?s. Personally, I loved going to Bob Evan?s when I was a kid but it?s definitely gone... downhill from then. The food was not good, at all. My mushroom and ham omelette felt more like an everything but the kitchensink omelette.. and even then i can?t be sure they didn?t add the kitchen sink. The ham was significantly over cooked and sowas the egg part of the omelette, it tasted like plastic. beyond that, my home fries were under cooked and some of them icouldn?t get a fork in. That, and I ordered a caramel coffee, which is on the menu, only for the waiter, who had already hadan attitude, to come back and tell me they don?t have caramel coffee and that she put caramel syrup in it; needless to say, itwas disgusting. Not only did this waiter give me and my partner attitude, but she gave other people near us attitude too. Itwas like no matter what we wanted she wasn?t happy. The waiter was excellent. Shame on the kitchen staff for making the front look bad. Broccoli uncooked. Breakfast meats in the... bowl were all but burnt. Eggs scrambled rather than over easy. Mac and cheese adequate. And apparently not cooking broccolitakes a half hour. Or maybe it was overcooking bacon and sausage. Thank God they now serve alcohol. Read more
First of all this place it's very dirty.. if you look where all staff touches they have left greasy prints on everything they... touch.. chair are nasty. If this is out in the dining room I hate to see what the inside of the kitchen looks like. The food wasso bad that they didn't cook my hash browns they put on 30 seconds on the grill and gave them to me. The only thing that wasdecent were the eggs. The coffee is the worst coffee I ever had it tastes like they dropped one can of Folgers in there thecheap kind. Coffee tasted like dirty socks. Pancakes taste nothing but flour. The only thing that was decent was my son's salad.As you can tell this place gets packed and I don't understand why food is horrible. We had great service great staff. just thefood and the cleaning were the worst. Will never be coming back. Bob Evans isn't the same anymore. While the hostess and wait staff were excellent, our breakfast meal wasn't anything special. ... The bacon, requested extra crispy, was anything but and sitting in a small pool of grease. The turkey sausage links weredry-ish and difficult (not impossible) to cut. The eggs and toast were fine. I don't know, Bob Evans just isn't specialanymore, seems to have lost their edge. Read more
Here is a 6 months update! Yesterday, Dec. 3rd, 2021. Service was super slow. Order came to our table, one item at a time. We... were lacking silverware. Stirred coffee with a straw, ate potato soup with a fork. Biscuits and gravy were ok, but they chargedme the wrong price, it was corrected at checkout. The other order was something else. ???? The BLT, half serving size was notgood, to say the least. The bread was burnt and hard. The bacon was EXTRA CRISPY, and I do mean, EXTRA CRISPY! The lettuce waswilted and the edges were black in color. Potato Soup was cold and taste like pure salt. The small plate of fruit was good, butagain, the price was corrected at the register. Went to Cracker Barrel with my daughter and ordered the iced Caramel Mocha. They are to die for and the lady you need to ask... for is Alicia. She also made my daughter the sweet cream cold brew and my daughter as in heaven. Highly recommend seeing Aliciafor your next dine in experience. Coffee lovers to not want to miss out. Read more
