This is a bar/restaurant in Spring Mills, WV just off of Rt 11N. It was our first visit to this place and we were happy with the... service that we received. The food was prepared well and was served in a timely manner. All of the food tasted great and weenjoyed our visit. The only point that I can mention is that although the fish was good, I was not a big fan of the breadingthat was on it. I thought it was quite hard/tough but overall, it was good. Facility was clean and well maintained and ourwaitress, Heather, was doing a great job. She was waitress, bartender, phone person and greeter so when she was able to keep up,I say kudos to her! Kitzie's is an enjoyable restaurant, complete with bar and TVs set to sports. The ambiance is quite pleasant, although I did... note that they tried to seat our party close to the others when the opposite side of the restaurant was relatively open. Werequested the other side to minimize noise and they were compliant. My wife had the fish and chips and noted that the fish wasmild, which met her preference for avoiding excessively strong fish flavor. Our children had chicken tenders and a burger,respectively. Both were pleased with their food. I had the crab cake sandwich and was pleased to find it to be primarily lumpcrab meat with little filler. It's actually the reason we went there this time. Goodbye crab cakes this week fare west of thebay are hard to find. The only thing I would point out is that it is a little pricey, although that could just be the increasein prices in general. But two adults and two kids cost $90, including tip, and we did not order anything with alcohol. This willbe more a special occasion than a regular stop. Read more

Reviews looked good so gave it a try. Now that I know, reservations recommended. It fills up and gets busy. Regardless got... seated fairly quickly on a Friday night. Got the Chesapeake Haddock special. Huge portion topped with crab meat. Very good andflakey. Got the crab fries for an app. Plenty of crab meat and was great. They're is a location in spring mills and one in martinsburg rock cliff drive. The building in martinsburg is dark colored and... would not jump out at you. Old fashioned dinner Bar feel with really good food. I've had, burgers, crab cakes, Fridayfish,... I've only ever gone for lunch. Happy hour starts at 12 ! Food comes out quick, But if you are dining, don't be in ahurry. My only complaint, from the, probably 8 times I've been between the 2 locations is, the lack of personality from thestaff. Very monotone. No smile or friendly personality. They are experienced but I would like them to stop and look at me. Waita moment and make sure contact when they ask, "would you like anything else" Oh, and desserts. They usually have a niceselection of desserts, but I've never had room.
