i ordered the spicy shrimp roll and there was a hard shrimp tail IN the roll. i usually love this place. how disappointing. for... the owners response: i said this is a spicy shrimp roll NOT shrimp tempura. those, i know, have tail. however, i’ve orderedthis spicy shrimp roll countless times and never had there been a tail inside this roll. I’ve heard so many amazing things about this place and was disappointed. I’ve had better sushi at Aikou in Warren. Since... I’m pregnant I can only eat cooked or vegetable sushi so I ordered the California roll and shrimp tempura roll (which isexactly what I’ve ordered from Aikou) as a pick up order. Maybe it’s made better when you dine in but presentation wise andflavor were just ok and roll size was smaller. It reminded me a bit like supermarket sushi. I found Aikou to be much fresher andI got more for my money. My husband ordered the chicken yakimeshi. It had no flavor and the chicken seemed boiled.
