I had been making my own fruit/veg smoothies and decided that it was too much hassle to clean my blender all the time, so I gave... smoothie king a shot. I searched the website to find the ones that I perceived to be most inline with my goals of receivingcarbs from fruit/veg, and made a decision (ex. ?Slim-n-trim veggie?, ?Veggie lemon ginger spinach?). When I went in the store toorder I was greeted by two nice people who helped me right away, and when they stated making my smoothies I was SO disappointed.It?s like 20% fruit at most, the rest is protein powder and then like 50% water (ice). I do think that to certain people thischain holds good value, and for the nutrition and convenience it?s worth the price, or it can be a conscious alternative to icecream, etc.. But for me personally I?m going to go back to taking my raw ingredients, chopping them, and eating them w/o usingthe blender, mixing frozen, dried, and fresh. And if you can afford SK then you can afford some decent protein powder, sosprinkle that on some fruit in a bowl and deal with it if that?s what you need. Plus raw veggies give you some protein (spinach,kale, broccoli, so on). P.s. Adding ginger and turmeric to a fruit smoothie is the bomb, and healthy. Read more
I absolutely love the smoothies and the staff are the kindest
I have been going to this location for a while and it was great and the customer service was nice, but they have all kinds of... bugs including roaches ? it?s quite disgusting. I didn?t see them until after I got my smoothie they were on the wall where theykeep the protein powders and by the cooler where their ice cream and vegetables. I immediately threw my smoothie away when iwalked outside. A friend of mine said she saw the manager kill one thinking she didn?t see and he never even cleaned it up hejust left it there. I am not okay with this because they are constantly serving customers knowing there are critters all overthe place especially where they keep the fruits, protein etc. And I?m not surprised they?re not doing anything about it becauseall of the other locations are poorly managed and have terrible customer service so i?m sure if they close down due to a buginfestation that they would lose a lot of business. Unfortunately I will not be coming back to this location and will be callingcorporate because it?s very disturbing to see people continue to prepare food for hundreds of people knowing bugs have beenaround it if not literally on it. never have reliability to open on time. opens at 7am but 715 still no employees here. very unprofessional. and prices are not... the best but the smoothies are phenomenal. **update** managers made up for employee tardiness w a free smoothie! Read more
I didn't want to put this on a public review, but since there is no way I could find on your website to contact the company... about this, here I am. We came into your location, admittedly 20 minutes before close, and there were 2 young individualsworking, one male and one female. We ordered 4 smoothies at around 7:40. The employees couldn't remember what we ordered, askedus what we ordered at least 4 times and at 8:27, we just got a refund for the last smoothie because we were done waiting. Thestore is empty and closed and there are still 5 smoothies sitting on the counter. As we were watching the 2 employees work, theyoung man seemed impaired in some way. He was wavering on his feet and holding on to counters. He was messing up orders andthen disappearing in the back while the young girl struggled to make sense of what he was doing. Additionally, when we went toget the refund, the one asking for the refund was charged again instead of being issued a refund. The whole experience wasabysmal. Read more

I?m a black woman and I came to the store with my 3 year old daughter same time as two other people who are white they was... served but as soon as I stepped into the store they told me they are closed then shut the lights off I asked for the managersphone number then they lied to me saying they don?t know the managers number.
