Had and excellent first experience here today for lunch. My wife and I sampled a variety of meats. The pork spare ribs and... turkey breast were outstanding. Both had a nice S&P crust and were incredibly moist and tender. I would definitely return forthose and recommend them to others. The sausage and pork belly were good. The brisket was a bit dry and I would be less likelyto get it a second time. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Been coming here for years, it's a 45 minute drive each way for me, and I haven't regretted the drive once. This is the best... Texas BBQ outside of Austin in my opinion, and would be top 5 in Austin too. Don't forget to get some turkey, it's highlyunderrated and a great change of pace. Over priced ($40 for what you see). I am from Texas and wanted to see if the review rating meet the actual meal. The turkey was... good but the brisket was on the dry side. Sides were not very tasteful. The pickles were good. Overall not worth the cost. Read more
We REALLY enjoyed our meals. The brisket, Turkey and all the sides were delicious. The SWEET TEA is the BEST we?ve had since... leaving the south. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain their menu options. This is a MUST have for anyonelooking for BBQ. Read more
I arrived pretty late, but they luckily had pulled pork left, so I ordered a pulled pork sammy with hot BBQ sauce and a silver... cloud brewery october lager(legit). The pork was so tasty, tender, and not dry. Im hesitant on ordering pulled pork anywhere,because it?s sometimes just a mushy mess-but not here. The pulled pork has substace(i hope this makes sense). They showed up in my FB newsfeed last week and I went to check them out today! Put green chili and porks tacos on anything and... that?s not going to be a hard sell for me. I lived in San Antonio for a couple of years and this place took me right back. Thetacos were kind of amazing ???? a lot of cheese for my personal taste but great nonetheless! Great food. Brisket was fall apart tender, Pork belly fantastically juicy and flavorful, brisket chili was very mildly spicy but... it was just right. The Mac and cheese was a nice peppery but not overwhelmingly peppered it helped balance the rest by offeringa pause from the amazing flavor explosion with a smooth balance of creamy and cheesy.
