Went here mid afternoon and had an early dinner before the dinner rush set in. This unassuming place tucked away in a strip mall... on state street is surprisingly good. The waitress was very cordial and helpful with taking the order and bringing out theappetizer then the main dishes. I ordered pot stickers and egg rolls for appetizers. They were delicious and full of flavor, yetnot too greasy. For the main dishes I got the house special fried rice, Szechuan beef, and Shanghai chow mein. They were allnice size portions and also very flavorful as well. All in all this was a good place, not too expensive, with great service. This place serves American standard Mandarin influenced cuisine. It has had its ups and downs, currently on an up swing. It an... enjoyable fairly priced meal with lots of choices. Not too busy for a Saturday night: service was super friendly and extremely fast! My water was always full! Each dish we ordered... came out PIPING HOT which is a very good sign of freshly food made food cooked to order. Super fresh egg rolls and the saucewith it was fantastic. The wonton soup was a little bland but a small splash of soy sauce really made the soup great!! We splitvegetable fried rice and general tso chicken.. Super crispy chicken, which we really enjoyed. I'm sure some people would say'too much crunchy batter and not enough meat' but I disagree!! The rice had nice colored vegetables and the edammames in therewere very nice! The portions are smaller than other Chinese restaurants in the area (not a family style serving.. But perfectfor two people to split). The chow mein and fried rice was saturated with oil. The BBQ pork was dry. The mongolian beef was too greasy and chewy and the... egg fu young was too salty. I did not enjoy their food. I don't plan to eat there again. Read more
