Could have been a 5 if they would have cooked our meat. Ordered 2 half a pound dinners ,$ 38,00 plus $ 6 tip . Ordered well... done, got them not near well done. We are visiting from the west coast and were excited to try Shoney?s. Delicious breakfast bar with plenty of fresh veggies AND... the southern fare we were hoping for. Biscuits and gravy were sooo good, and the fried chicken was fun and tasty. Bacon wascrisp, sausage patties were plentiful and the fresh fruit was surprisingly good! We had their fresh kiwi which was perfect. Theyalso had some fresh melon and various sweetened fruit which we didn?t taste. We were blown away by the veggie bar, which hadexceedingly fresh lettuce, spinach, cucumber slices, tomatoes, onions and more. They even had garbanzo beans, dill picklespears, peppercinis and beets! Quality was super good. Prices were very reasonable compared to home. $11.99/person for thebreakfast +$2.99/person for drinks. Stopped by for an early dinner and after have visited most all Shoney?s location this one in Maryville is by far the best! The... food was absolutely the best we?ve eaten in a while and the lady ?running? the bar Brenda was continuously cleaning fresheningup the food, bring new out new dood and rotating so you don?t get an old item later on. This is the first location I have seencovers over the food on the bar, this is top notch! Kept it fresh and not drying out. I can?t recommend anything better thanthis place. We have not eaten at a Shoneys in many years. They all went bust in our area. We always liked their brunch bar as you can get... fresh salads, breakfast or lunch food at the same time. It fits all the requirements. This location was very nice and ourwaitress, I think her name was Jane, was exceptional. She was very attentive and answered several questions about the Maryvillearea.
