NOTICE: For anyone interested we ordered two sandwiches online from eastside Subway in Mason City, Iowa three weeks ago and... paid for them on line, $18.00 When I went to pick them up they had no confirmation even though I had the receipt and theyrefused to make the sandwiches or refund my money. So I talked to the manager on the phone who could have cared less and told meI was out of luck, she said they'll put the money back in our account in a couple days. The money was never returned to ouraccount and the corporate headquarters won't return our call. If you do business with eastside Subway you are going to getripped off sooner or later. Actually didn't even eat. Was standing in line and noticed the ham and turkey were completely diffrent . Shaved in squares and... they looked gross. Have to say pretty sad display of quality . Read more
They had a note posted saying short on staff which, I get you everyone is short staff. But home dude slid my whole foot long... into someone else?s sauce from a sandwich made? idk? then made sure to press down with his whole might on my toppings to makesure they were still on my sandwich ( my poor breed). Then went in for the cut WITH A DIRTY KNIFE. My hurt sunk man? I stillpayed for my food but told the younger man to do better, food safety is a real thing. When I walked in the restaurant I was very shocked. The tables were all flipped upside down and the fridges were filled with... human fingers. I think they cut of finger and use them to make bread. Good cookies though! Read more
This Subway is consistent in that it's not consistent at all. There are days with super friendly, attentive service, but there... are also days where the staff just glares at you and barely listens as you order. The food is typical Subway quality. Not goodbut not awful either. If you don't mind the trip across town, I'd definitely hit up State Street Deli or Jimmy Johns before anySubway in town. Read more
