Not the best food, but great service
Very disappointed. I went in to get tofu nachos and the staff behind the counter looked frightened. Asking why they took a... spoon and said crunchy tofu. No good. Sit there all day and shook thier heads. I asked if they can make fresh which they saidabout 20 minutes or so and it kinda seemed like they may not have wanted to because it was late maybe? Perhaps this storeshould keep and eye on the food and make sure things are ready. I?m not expecting this place to be a Michelin five starcuisine. It is what it is and what it was was disappointing. I haven?t been here in a couple of years and thought I?d finallycome back to try since it was near by. I?ll think twice before coming back. Ended up going to Panera next door. Read more
Before I left this review I tried to email the Massapequa location- undeliverable. Then I tried to call- voicemail full. This... is what happened at the Massapequa location- the employees also should be made aware, especially as they leave for the night andif there?s not a no soliciting sticker visible at the door, please consider using one. I visited with my daughter and while Iwas paying a man appeared next to her/us from behind very quickly- no mask and very close, I?d say two feet away. I always tryto be aware of my surroundings, and this was a bit disturbing- a fail on my part. He was selling perfume and oil. I becamequite flustered and was debating on taking the food to go but was too scared. Without making this obvious I was hoping theemployee ringing us up would ask him to leave, but he continued. It was quite uncomfortable and I became ready to disable himin order to protect my child. If he had tried to get her to smell something or met us in the parking lot after, there wouldhave been a more serious safety concern, mostly for him and possibly for others in the vicinity. For the safety of all, pleaseknow that this is going on. Never in my life have I been paying at an establishment?s register, cash all out and had somethinglike this happen. Does this shopping center location have security and if not, do you know how long it would take police/rescueto arrive? Please remind yourselves, your daughters, sisters, mothers, sons, employees - anyone you love not to smell anythingand be ready to defend yourself and children. Read more
Looking for a place to have dinner with my family and came here and it did not meet my expectations whatsoever. First of all... when we came in a new employee was taking our order and didn't know how to speak English well, when we asked her a questionabout the kid's meal, ?how many tacos come in it?? She said you can choose, 1,2 or 3, by the time we got to paying the ladycharged us for 3 kids meals because we got 3 tacos, on top of that, the steak beef in my burrito didn't even taste good it wasvery salty, even the cookies they had were stale. I've been to most of the Moes on the island like Greenvale, Garden City, Plainview, Oceanside and this one in Massapequa. This... has to be the first time I got a skinny and cold burrito. Now its almost 1pm so there shouldn't be any cold food. (And by cold Imean not hot, not cold from a refrigerator) Now we all don't like getting service by a new hire, and that explains the skinnyburrito. And to top it off when they put the burrito in the bag with the chips, it got jabbed by a chip pushing a chunk of foilinto the burrito. Needless to say it was not a good lunch today. I'm sure these were all just an accident but I got the TripleCrown today. I'm still going to Moes but might Stat away from this one for a while. Read more
I pass by to this location it wasn?t a great experience there they give me a big welcome the food is delicious the staff are... nice this lady who take my order was very friendly Her Name tag Elia she offered me Queso salsas this is the best experience andthe last Vanessa Took my order to be pay. Came here for lunch and they were nice enough to offer me a free drink with my order. In their eyes, since it was an app order... they felt I waited longer than expected. I thought that was a very nice gesture on their end and truly appreciate the attentionto customer service. Brighten my day! Read more
