Tonight we met a bunch of friends at a restaurant called bar grazie. It's a great little restaurant in massapequa... Park. Tonight I had my first and probably only pumpkin beer with rim. I am not a huge fan of pumpkin beer but want a season isgood. We started the meal with an order of wings, Italian nachos and a giant pretzel. I forgot to take a picture of the giantpretzel but I'm sure you understand what a giant pretzel looks like. We ordered two different flavor of wings a buffalo saucewing and a honey sriracha wing. The Buffalo wings had a great flavor with a decent amount of heat. The honey sriracha althoughhad a great flavor it was little to no heat to it at all. We love that the wings were grilled. The wife had a Mexican Caesarsalad and she said the dressing was fantastic. The boy child had an order of wings with buffalo sauce and really like them. They were meeting and juicy and for him and okay amount of heat. He likes them hotter. For my main course I had as someonesuggested the beef short rib. It was tender and full of flavor and the risotto that it was sitting on was out of this worldGreat. One of my friends had the Italian stallion and an order of empanadas and he seemed to enjoy them. There were pizzasordered by some of the kids and a cheeseburger and they all seem to enjoy them. One of the other wives had an order of stuffedrigatoni in ala vodka. And the other wife ordered a Mexican pizza. It looked fantastic. My other friend ordered the chickenscarpanilla. He said it was great and full of flavor. He will definitely be ordering it again. Came here for my birthday dinner tonight with a party of 11 and our experience was awesome. Sabrina was our server and she was... amazing! Very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Highly recommend the Drunken Clams and Tuna TartareToastadas for the apps. I had the skirt steak and it was cooked to perfection. Food was full of flavor, had a nice presentationand the portions were just right. Their cocktails are also well crafted with unique options. Very Strong and a well presented.Highly recommend the Purple Haze Margarita. Omg, their dessert options are also a plus. I had the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake andit was perfect. Bar Grazie replaced the old Ciao Baby in Massapequa. Been meaning to try them out since they opened, finally had the opportunity... recently and already been there twice. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and drink options they had! At first glance ofthe menu, it was hard to identify what kind of place / audience they were catering to, the sub title says "Italiano AmericanoCantina" then you see their menu ... are they a place for pizza? tacos? burgers/sandwiches? Since those headings stood out. Tothis day it's still a little confusing but maybe that's the beauty of it they have a little of everything to cater to a wideaudience, even low carb options! Prices seem a little high but everything has gone up these days. Their daily specials are yourbest bet for value. My go-to is the keto chicken, a good portion size with lots of flavors. I'm planning on trying out thereweekend brunch specials, last we caught the tail end of one and it was lively and energetic, I think they were also hosting abachelorette party that day so maybe that's why it was busy and a bit loud (could also be I'm getting old ????), their brunchmenu has stuff I want to try (like short rib tostada, short rib hash, and of course those bottomless drink!) Apparently Thursday night is Ladies Night with specials and appears to bring people in. We ate outside since it was warm enough;... although we were the only ones outside, they were fine with that. It is right on Sunrise Hwy so kind of noisy but not too bad.They have it set up so you're not looking at traffic. Gratzie salad was large, lots of pistachios. I added the caremalizedonions and arugala to the Margherita pizza, and it was delicious with a thin crust... just right! Our waitress, Jessica, wasexcellent and attentive. Came for brunch, the food was definitely not up to par. I ordered the chicken and waffles sandwich, not only was the chicken not... breaded in half the sandwich, but the "waffles" were soggy Eggo waffles that the bottom one was the consistency of mushtherefore making it impossible to pick up and eat as a sandwich. Whatever you do DONT COME HERE. Terrible service. They wouldn't let me make a reservation and hung up on me twice. So... rude. Don't know what happened they used to be great. Great food and amazing service. Our waitress was great, super friendlyand really knew the menu/food items. She suggested the special punch that was absolutely amazing. I loved the vegan wings anddidn't feel left out when my husband ordered his wings for once!! I had the shrimp tacos, which were a special but I can't waitto go back and try more of the menu. My husband got a drink that came with bacon in it. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.(or don't, more tables for us -we were sat instantly because we wanted to sit outside, but they were busy!) Went again becausewe're obsessed with this place. The service is just absolutely amazing, possibly the best on LI. First time being back at this location since it used to be ciao baby but bar grazie was absolutely amazing! The pizzas had... amazing flavor the prosciutto was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a little kick to it and the filet mignon was so tender onthe French onion pizza and the eggplant meatballs were sooo good and the desserts were so good too.
