The nightclub music in a bistro should've been enough to warn me something was off here ???? Had a pulled chicken sandwich with... apple that looked like a child slapped leftovers on a bun and forgot to microwave it. Food was not hot/warm and the seasoningseemed weird. The chicken was not pulled, it was just chopped up chunks and so was the apple, like it came out of a snackpak..no seasoning/baking to complement the weird chicken. Also got chicken noodle soup with meal and it tasted like watered downcurry.. But not even good curry!? Just keep driving. Read more
The absolute best ! What an adorable restaurant. I had the pulled chicken sandwich 2 days ago and I am still thinking and... talking about it. The staff was so nice and the food came out so fast. I look forward to going back. Thank you for making myMassey trip that much better. Read more
Small town Massey, highway 17 found a gem in the country! Food is divine, gotta try the quiche with homemade pastry and the... SPECTACULAR carrot cake. Service is so sweet and the space is quaintly and clean!!! Thank you Down Home Bistro, a perfect drivethrough eatery! Read more
Five star quality food. We were blown away with the quality of each plate. The staff was lovely. A real gem! (We had the... cinnamon french toast with ham, eggs Benedict, club house, linguine with marinara sauce, and hot chicken sandwich. And kitkatchai latte with oat milk). Read more
Service was fantastic. Food was out to us quickly, not sloppy. I had the hearty breakfast while not the biggest big breaky ive... ever had everything tasted delicious. My gf had the vanilla french toast and she really liked it!! Great atmosphere very clean!If we are ever in Massey again we will be back! Read more
We were surprised to find this beautiful joint in the quite town of Massey. Food, ambience, hospitality, location, everything... was top notch. I highly recommend to people travelling on Trans-Canada Highway, to take a break and go see Deep & his team. Read more
We stopped here for breakfast during a cross-Canada bike ride. They were open on time, even a few minutes early. Regular locals... came in, which was a good sign. I had a standard ham and eggs breakfast. Everything was done perfectly and the presentation wasnice. The price was fair and our waiter took care of us well, refilling my coffee. The locals had ample praise for presentowners. Read more
This restaurant definitely deserves its 5 stars. Both the customer service and food were on point. The staff were so attentive... and everything we ordered was so yummy. Overall really happy we came to this restaurant. Definitely recommend! Read more
