Came here years ago when this was Sandy Hook. Returned recently and was quite impressed with change in ambience of restaurant. ... Love the openness to waterfront with "garage doors" and outdoor dining with dock to walk on. Liked addition of live musictoo. I'd give it 5 stars, but wasn't all that impressed with food portions and preparation. My salmon was overcooked, veggies(from bag?), and mashed potatoes were ok. Calamari was overdone too. Hubby had fettuccini alfredo and caeser salad, smallportions and average taste. Hush puppies were good. Wish there was fresh bread and butter or oil. Read more

First time, and won't be the last time, here. Great atmosphere and the view is fantastic. The food was good. You have to... order the gator bites with the "Boom sauce", excellent choice. What a gorgeous location!!! If you?re in beautiful Matlacha, this is a great place to eat!!! The service was great, and the food... was delicious! Ok. I know it looks like I only post great reviews of places but honestly I do my research before I go anywhere. This place is... awesome. That atmosphere is great. We sat outside and they even provided insect repellant spray if the ?noseeums? come foryou. I had the boom boom shrimp. My buddy had the fish tacos. My wife had the sliders and my friends wife had the sunfishsalad. We each loved what we had. Pictures below. Charles was our server and kept tabs on us. Service was great. Read more
We have been here several times, but this latest visit was subpar. The waiter was slightly impatient, the food was a little... bland and the alcoholic drinks were very weak (we had to ask for a shot to add). However, the scenery is amazing. Read more
