First time I?ve ever had Turk?s was last night and I think I have to say it was one of the most delicious meals I?ve had in a... long time! The sushi roll was the best I?ve ever had and I appreciate the fact that any roll can be wrapped in soy paper as Idislike seaweed wraps! The crab/seaweed salad, again, was the the best I?ve ever had! This was one of the best meals I have had in quite some time. The menu has so many options, from cooked fish to raw fish and... everything in between. The lobster ravioli in a tarragon cream sauce with jumbo shrimp and lobster meat was to-die-for. Thesushi was some of the best sushi I've ever had. We ordered the shrimp and scallops in Madeira wine over couscous, shrimpMozambique, and scallops topped with crab meat. Everyone was raving. We have driven past this charming little spot hundreds of times but were never tempted to stop until an article appeared... mentioning that Bill Murray had been here for lunch recently. Decided to check it out and we were so happy that we did. Theoutside seating area was delightful and casual. The service was exceptional. The food was amazing and not at all overpriced. First time customer, the hostess said the wait was 30 minutes, but we said we were okay with sitting by the bar so we were sat... immediately, which was convenient. Spacious bar with an even bigger menu, many options to choose from for sushi, seafood, andcocktails as well. The drinks were very strong but tasty, I got the Hard Lemonade and my girlfriend got the Mango Mai-Tai, whichwas sweet and strong as well. Overall sushi was delicious, as was the beer battered haddock, would recommend Turk?s to anyseafood or sushi lover, also they have things like burgers and chicken if that?s not your thing too! Food was really good but it was a little too busy for my liking. We had to wait for almost 90 minutes for our sushi. It was... supposed to be our app but it came after our meals. Everything was delicious though. They sat us in the outdoor area that hadheaters but it was still really cold, I'm sure it's really nice in the summer. Anyway, I will definitely go back and try itagain, maybe not on a weekend. Did I mention the food was delicious. *UPDATE* I did return and this time we were seated with 5minutes. Service was GREAT, food came in a timely manner and was Delicious! I would definitely recommend going here if you're aseafood and /or sushi lover. Read more
This is the go to location for the freshest seafood on the Southcoast of Massachusetts. Family run and 30 years in this location... their restaurant and Market is always active. We are long term weekly customers who find different items from their seafood andsushi to try each time. No reso?s so come early if you can and enjoy your meal! Read more
