We order here often for delivery but they are always less than consistent. And they charge $7 for the tiniest salad ever. Plus,... these Fries are considered loaded? I think after this we are just done. Read more
The service was excellent and the food was even better. Tuesday is half off on burgers and they were so awesome. Wings were so... good I took some to go. The drinks were outstanding. Try the Diva if you like martinis. Brittany our server was very attentiveand constantly checked on us. Tika the manager was very friendly and ensured we had great service. As states and cities are relaxing their guidelines regarding masks and social distancing, bar Louie doubles down and not only... requires masks but also demands proof of vaccination in order to dine in. Alienating half of the American population. Evident bythe fact that there's 4 people in the entire establishment. All the while, employees have their masks on their chins. This was an ok place, we decided to give it a try one night. The restaurant itself looked nice inside. Wasn't crowed. We... sat down at a table along the side of the bar. Took a bit for anyone to come take our order or even give us a menu. But thewaiter that did come was really sweet. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and our meal..... well the meal showed up first, followedshortly by the appetizer then the drinks. That was rather disappointing. But the food and drinks were decent. Price: Expect typical "gourmet burger" prices here. $13-$16 for a burger & pretty much everything else aligns the same way.... 2/5 Flat bread pepperoni: Appearance - Lackluster. Nothing like photos. Missed the extra pepperoni part. Had to piece backtogether as it fell apart mid-ride. 2/5 Taste - About as average as you can get. Nothing really stands out. Tastes just as ifyou cooked it yourself at home which could be good or bad depending on what standards you have for restaurants. The option to change your side to whatever is nice. The loaded tater tots look meh. The chili iscold & there's not enough of it. I was expecting a bit more than chili & chives for "loaded" such as cheese, sour cream, etc.3/5 Taste - First off the tots are terrible. It's as if Bar Louie expects you to season your own food. I don't even know howyou can get fried potatoes wrong. The chili is bland & has a weird aftertaste to it. The burger wasn't that much better. Everyingredient except for the egg was bland so all you taste is egg... & the egg isn't even good. The meat is relatively unseasoned.You don't even taste salt or pepper. Even the bacon was bland! It's an overall unsatisfying burger that leaves a lot to bedesired. The sauce it comes with isn't good either & actually makes everything worse. 1/5 Customer Service - Took awhile forthem to get my order out of the door. Didn't give me extra pepperoni & the passionfruit lemonade I ordered was a pink lemonade.2/5 Overall I don't know what's going on in Mattheson, but so far it's been bad restaurant after bad restaurant & Bar Louie isnot the exception. Absolutely wonderful! Had a well made Old Fashioned within minutes of sitting down. The Chicken Parm sandwich is incredible and... perfectly paired with the loaded tots. Cleanliness, speed and friendliness of service, food taste, temp and quality were allperfect. Couldn't have been better! Read more
Arrived there for lunch to a basically vacant place. There was a single bartender apparently running everything. Air conditioner... blasting despite it being 25° out, I was barely able to eat I was so cold. My salad was made with old shriveled greens, thewings were basically what seemed like random bits of chicken drenched in Buffalo sauce, almost had to eat them with a spoon likea weird pile of wet spicy cereal.
