Catching up on reviews. This is for my visit on Wednesday, 07-27-22 and Wednesday, 08-03-22. The picture with three sundaes is... from the August visit when there was a deal where sundaes were $1 each. The flavors were oreo, butterscotch, and cheesecake. Itried the key lime concrete in July. Not only is the custard great, but the customer service is usually good. A young lady gaveme a suggestion of a combination I plan to try the next time I visit. There was always a good diversity of customers each timeI've been there. I definitely enjoyed seeing families enjoying a cool treat in the heat. Trying to keep my weight down is theonly thing keeping me from visiting more frequently. Glad they're in Matthews. Read more

We tried this place yesterday for the first time. Service was fast and we were able to walk up to the window and order. I had... the pumpkin pie small concrete that they use a slice of pie in. It was heavenly and I need to try to stay away from this placeor the gym would be counter productive. Have gone back for a second taste as the first time I came things had just opened and some things were not works. This time I... got a key lime concrete. Basically a very thick shake. They basicly throw a piece of key lime pie in with there custard andblend it up nice and thick. Very good. Would love to just go back and try every flavor they make. Well worth stopping by andgetting a frozen custard. Place has a nice retro look and feel. There is seating outside but no tables. So you can eat your icecream outside but will have to hold out to it. They have space for some tables. Perhaps they may come later or perhaps they wantthe space for days when it gets crowded. Love all the neon lights, and the menu has so many options. Read more
