Where do I start, we'll let's start with the following day of Thanksgiving (2022). My out of town family wanted to go to... Cracker Barrel for breakfast. During our visit we discovered that the cooks obviously needed to attend culinary school. The foodwasn't prepared The way it should've been. They brought out egg and sausage way earlier than the rest that came with the meal. The waitress was very professional and understood the issues that we experienced. They cleared the tab and gave us two free mealvouchers. Two nights later we went back just to discover the exact same thing. The cooks couldn't cook a well done steak. Thewaitress that waited on our table disappeared and never returned. So I had to request for a new waitress. There's more to addbut the moral of this ordeal is that we will never, ever be going back to this Cracker Barrel again. They really shouldn't beopened with no better service that they have to offer. Send the cooks to culinary school or shut the doors till they can dobetter. Read more

I hadn?t been to a Craxker Barrel in years and was so disappointed. We were seated promptly and our order was taken. And then... we waited, and waited, for our food. Finally everybody was served at once! My meal was lukewarm and the grilled cheesesandwich had melted cheese that had hardened. I would normally have sent it back but we had already waited for ages. My Frenchfries were barely edible because they were almost cold. Seriously, they have to do better. Our waiter was very nice andfriendly. The kitchen was appalling. Read more

What happened at this store? There are obviously staffing/training and kitchen issues here. First we ordered the ?loaded tater... tot? appetizer. The tater tots were good, but the cheese and bacon bits were cold and simply heaped on them. Some salamandertime would have helped. We ordered two ?chicken fried chicken? plates with 3 sides each We were informed that your signaturehash brown casserole ?was out? - what? And right before your dinner rush? We had to ask for biscuits - another signature item.We were then informed black berry jam ?was out?, and then had to ask for bread plates - or eat the biscuits off the table untilthe entrees arrived, The chicken arrived, but was bland. One chicken breast had no gravy, the other a table spoon or so. We hadto ask for a side of sawmill gravy to help. My side of grits was watery, and not fully cooked with a sand-like quality, We werenot offered dessert but asked for pieces of the ?chocolate pecan? and ?apple strudel pie? both with advertised ice cream. We gota slice of the chocolate pie, but also an unordered peach cobbler. Neither had ice cream. After a few minutes we got the Applepie with ice cream, but had to ask about the ice cream for the pecan pie. It arrived on a bread plate. No fresh silverware withthe desserts. We saw only one other occupied table in our waitresses zone. Nearby tables were piled with unbussed small waresand utensils.the waitress said she was having an ? off day?. Sorry to hear that but she made ? her problem? into ? our problem?AND we had to pay for it. We were not offered refills nor cup drinks to go. We?ve already reported this disaster on your website. Who doesn't like going to Cracker Barrel?! Every time I go it brings back memories of my travels. You can get hot or cold tea... here. The only thing I didn't like was they stopped serving the fried catfish ???? That was the main reason I went there. Theyhave replaced it with fried cod and trout. The fried cod was only available at night so I had to settle for grilled trout. Itwas good. I noticed that there portions of the sides are a little smaller. After we ate we hit the store. My son got his usualcandy sticks. I picked up some Christmas decorations and presents.I love looking at all of their seasonal items. Overall thevisit was good Read more

I?ve come here pretty often but this time around wasn?t the best. I asked for light cheese in egg white scramble and was so much... cheese barely could find enough eggs to eat. The turkey sausage was cooked hard and nothing fluffy abt the one pancake I orderedon the side. The waitress was extremely friendly so that made the experience not as bad as it could have been. However the fruitwas extremely fresh and sweet and so were the tomatoes. Read more

On the way to Indian Trail, we've ridden by Cracker Barrel on more than occasion. This morning a friend of mine suggested that... we stop this morning and have breakfast. I've seen the restaurants regularly during my travels, but had never actually takenthe time to stop in and eat. Even though I was fortunate enough to have eaten from their dinner menu before. Just a briefsidebar; I am a Marine veteran and a few years ago while I was recovering from surgery, my county VA rep had given them my namearound Christmas time, I believe and someone else gave me a ride to the Cracker Barrel and they gave me multiple packages forthe most amazing holiday meal(s). There was at least enough food for 10 people. I've never had the opportunity before, untilnow, too thank them for that most amazing meal in a public forum...until now. And they deserve my thanks for this. It was afantastic gesture that arrived at just the perfect time. There were a number of other veterans that also received these meals atno cost whatsoever. Back to my review and photographs of this particular Cracker Barrel. Amanda was our hostess today and did anoutstanding job. The restaurant was absolutely slammed and they were taking reservations at the hostess stand. A veryprofessional and courteous young lady, who kept the crowds moving seamlessly along with the rest of the staff. If you've neverbeen...go, you will not be disappointed. Everything is extremely well-maintained and sanitized in between guests. All areas arehandicap accessible. Even before entering the restaurant itself, you'll see dozens of rocking chairs to relax in, eitherbefore...or after your meal, if the need arises. The decor is strictly country store, from a bygone era. Country antiquesabound, throughout the exterior, as well as the interior of the restaurant. When you entered the building itself, it was almostlike walking back in time to a local country store. Old fashioned candies and books from a bygone era. Clothing, gifts a Read more

No wait. Waitress was quick to get our drinks and take our order. Food came out fast and was good. The shrimp were a little over... cooked but edible. Saturday special pork chop was good. Read more
