Excellent food, friendly staff. The atmosphere could use some decor to soften it and rearrangement of the tables, but it's... very clean and tidy. All entree prices are in $15 -$20 range but also includes a salad and fantastic bread!! This is the onlytruly Italian restaurant I know of in the Mattoon/ Charleston area that isn't a pizza place first. Read more
In the words of my boyfriend, who went to culinary school, this was the BEST pasta we've ever had. The rolls were delightful,... the salad was the perfect size to get our stomachs ready, and the service was outstanding! Our waitress greeted us with a smile,and was so attentive to our every need! Everyone was so kind! For two, it was about $35 before the tip, but boy was it worth it!Yum yum yum! We will most definitely be back! Read more
Consistently great food, whether it be pasta or pizza. Rolls are amazing. House salad dressing is also unique. Our child loves... the stromboli. Large portions, we usually have leftovers for the next day. Read more

Authentic Italian food in Central Illinois? Believe it! I was really surprised at how good the food is. I had the best stromboli... I have had in recent memory. The meatball sub was top notch as well. The portions are huge so you really do get a lot of valuefor the money. Ambiance could use a little work. They're in a large space so it doesn't really give you that cozy neighborhoodItalian restaurant vibe, but the food and the service more than makes up for it. Read more
Damablanka was delicious! No parmesan cheese on Caesar salad was strange and no fresh cheese for pasta. Kiersten was great and... the owner or manager was nice enough to give us a quarter because we were short getting a toy outta the kids machines. Veryfamily friendly! Read more
The food was great, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was a bit off- but not enough to matter. I would eat here... again. Notes: It was not busy when we ate. We were a table of three. The tables looked like they may have been too small for mytaste if we had four people. It seemed like they were smaller tables than average. Read more
