The order was just what we ordered. The food was hot. However they didn't put any condiments or napkins.
Fries were not even fit to eat cold brown
Decided to go try the churro shake at the mattoon sonic...well I'm glad I ordered a small cuz I wasn't impressed & I don't... recommend...reason being because they're wasn't much churro flavor...it needs more cinnamon churro flavor or something plus itwas a little expensive for a small maybe 12oz cup it was almost $4 anyway its my opinion take it or leave it ???? Service was poor, the place was practically all shut down looking with many stalls blocked off or not working. The food was not... worth the price. We will not go back. Read more
I rode my bike today in 90 degrees, went to this sonic to purchase a large strawberry slushy with nerds and when I payed and got... my change and drink handed to me, I noticed it wasn't the normal red smoothie I usually get, it was an all white shake withnerds, whipped cream and cherry on top so I instantly knew something was up. The girl came out and let me know last minuteinstead of when I was ordering that their slushy machine was down after I already gave them the money and said that what theygave me was a slushy so I cant get a refund. I say "shouldn't I not have to pay for this since it isn't a strawberry slushy?".she said "well its basically the same thing, that's why." and walked back inside, didn't give me my receipt either. I couldn'tjust walk inside cause its not a inside restaurant nor did I have my phone with me so I leave off on bike knowing I just had topay the price of a large slushy with nerds for a large milkshake with nerds , whipped cream and cherry that I had no intentionsof ordering or eating. So I went home to call the manager, the manager admitted to knowing she gave out a milkshake inreplacement of slushy when I asked for a slushy in the fist place. I ask her if there's a way I can get a free drink or avoucher and she says "well we cant do anything unless you have the drink with you and we can exchange it for a slushy since ourmachine is now back up and the smoothie has thickened up finally but as far as giving you a free drink we cannot do that" eventhough they knowingly purposefully gave me a wrong drink. So I decided to hang up and not argue with the manager or cause anyissues cause I knew that it wouldn't resolve anything so I've resorted to getting ahold of corporate and making this review tospread awareness. Long wait for service and second long wait for my food, both several minutes in length. Ordered Texas toast burger, got toasted... sandwich bread, that was rubbery and seemed microwaved. Patty was burnt on the edges and cold in the middle, overall one ofthe worst burgers I've gotten in years. Onion rings were rock-hard and virtually inedible. Cherry dr pepper was ok though. Won'tbe back, and suggest picking another option if you can. Read more
I went through the drive through for a coffee. The customer in front of me was taking a while on the order so they brought my... coffee out to me and I drove off with my order...very good service!! Read more
