Very good food with a large variety. Large portions. Service was excellent. Plenty of parking.
Visiting Toledo from Virginia (DC area) and followed the positive reviews to Briarfield Cafe. From the outside looked like... many other joints - strip mall, clean. Entering was a great surprise - a crowd (always an excellent sign) and a wonderfulmural of Paris - having been there I never expected a Paris Cafe in Toledo. The food lived up to the owners' goals -excellent. Special shout out to Paula our server. David (owner) please take notice and reward her. At the check out wasthe obituary of the wife half of the Cafe (sympathies) from three years ago. Glad to see it still going strong (andremembering their roots. Highly recommended. A non-chain jewel in an unexpected setting. GO! PS only suggestion is thatstaff be informed of location of mural setting. Read more
Went here for breakfast. So delicious, and so much food. Yum!!
I ordered food on 7/4. The omelette was not full and didn?t have the extra items I ordered. I called the restaurant to let them... know of the issue. They were polite at the moment & told me they wrote my name down for a credit for a new omelette. 7/7 Icalled to get the credit. They told me my name was not wrote down but the lady who answered the phone told me she worked thatday & still gave it to me. I went to restaurant to pick the order up I did not get greeted all the cashier said was ?2.99? assoon as I walked up. Literally no ?Hello!? or anything!! I?m thinking like ?ok?? So I payed for my food & asked if i couldplease get syrup. She gave me the syrup but never said have a nice day or anything..but greeted the people behind me with bigsmiles. Just felt not welcomed!!! Great and very fast service. The giant cinnamon roll is amazing. Everything is homemade. Sam the manager was awesome made sure... we were all happy. Sausage gravy made from scratch as well. Great place to get something to eat on your way to work. Read more

First time ever to this restaurant stuff for a quick bite to eat at dinner or waitress was very friendly helpful attentive are... soup and salad and bread came out very fast after we placed our order overall food was good hot fresh coleslaw was very good theonly thing I didn't care for was the carrots that came with my meatloaf and also my meatloaf had way too much gravy on it for myliking and I also don't understand the up charge if you don't get a baked potato and I replaced mine with coleslaw they chargeyou more for your side. But overall definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
Good was good but upon entering the restaurant, we were not greeted by anyone or told how long it would be before we were... seated. A general courtesy welcome is expected especially when weee in front of a Cold door and my guest is a 87 yr oldgentleman. Read more
