The Cracker Barrel is a popular chain for many reasons. In the current economic climate the amount of foods you get for the... prices is unbelievably GREAT. The restaurant is naturally crowded. There is usually a wait made pleasurable by browsing the shopor rocking in the chairs on the porch. The kitchen does its best to turn out the orders in a timely fashion. A side of fries is comical! (See below for size comparision) $3 for literally maybe 6 fries. Im dead bro. Maybe for a toddler.... Anyways, we also ordered Grandmas breakfast sampler and mommas French toast platter. Pancakes were pretty tasty and had a littlecrunchy edge which I love. But they give you this tiny glass bottle of syrup (see below next to fries) However dont orderscrambled eggs because it's just boxed ones and they dont even fluff them up to make em look good. Salad was fresh and crunchy. Meatloaf was cold and bland. Which went well with the cold mashed potatoes.Turnip greens was well... seasoned and hot. The ham was succulent not dry. The best for last dumplings was flavorful and light. Took more than 20 minutesfor waitress to take drink order. Read more
Cracker Barrel Old@ Country Store???????????? My husband and I went to New York. Have lunch at the "Biscuit Barrel" restaurant.... We are here for the first time. The walls in the restaurant are covered with decorative artworks from historical ages. Thedesign style is very unique, which makes me feel very shocked! We reserved a table at 14:30 in the afternoon. There are so manydiners. The taste is great, and it is very clean and hygienic. Here, I especially recommend it to all my friends! I willdefinitely come back next time I drive! Read more
What a dump! We started our night off by ordering our food online at 730 pm with a pick up time 750 pm. I arrived at about 755... pm to pick up said order. The staff couldn't be bothered with answering my questions about my order. By the time I received myorder and left I had spent over an hour waiting and being told different things about my order. Many other customers had came inand picked up their orders and left before I had received word about mine from the manager. My food came out at 852 pm cold,burnt and smelling like trash. Read more
Went on a Sunday evening, it was pretty busy with a 45 minute wait for a party of 8. The wait wasn't a big deal but once we got... seated it took the waitress 30 minutes or better to take our drink order so by that time we gave her our meal order as well. Hadto ask for silverware, drinks didn't come out for another 20 minutes and food took every bit of an hour or better only for halfthe orders to be cold. Read more
