I was staying in the hotel across the road. I tried Bob Evans on the first night and went there for the next 2 nights too!!! The... food was sumptuous, the servings were generous and the hospitality fantastic. Special shout-out to my server (Cornelia if mymemory serves me right). I got breakfast in the middle of the day. It was delicious. Service was a little slow but it certainly was not the waitress's... fault. She was doing an outstanding job, but she was the only person available to work, so she was handling all the tables byherself. Read more
Don't dine here. Just don't. A group of coworkers and myself came over from the hotel next door. Took awhile to be seated and... there were only one other table in use. Took 20 mins to get our drinks then our order. Couldn't complete an order to request atall. Ordered medium steak with over easy eggs. Got shoe leather and powdered scrambled eggs. And all that was over an hour afterwe ordered! Manager wouldn't come speak with us either. Place is ran like a joke. Save yourself the trouble. Read more
Our little group was happy to have a Bob Evans right by our hotel. Not how Bob Evans used to be. Food tasted ok. Ordered a... skillet with sausage gravy instead of country gravy. Our food came my skillet didn't have sausage in it. I told our waiter hesaid he'd get me some. He finally brought my sausage but the rest of my food got cold while waiting. The rest of my party endedup waiting for me to finish my food. I never got my biscuits that was supposed to come with my skillet. Whole thing was a majordisappointment. Others in the group said their food also wasn't as good as it used to be. Probably won't include it in ourtravel stops anymore. Read more
A walk down memory lane was met with smiles and just a little disappointment due to the commercialization of the menu. Our... friendly server informed us that some of the most cherished menu items vanished after the restaurant was bought out. Too bad.Still the meal was tasty and reasonably priced. They have a somewhat new staff and it's working for the good. My wife and I ate there tonight, both of us had the 7.99 chicken... dinner they both were over cooked and half the size of the ones pictured. I think I will stick to breakfast when I go there Read more
