Ooookay. I ONLY rate on taste, but let me say this place was aesthetically beautiful and had extremely clean bathrooms! Now,... the food: EXCELLENT!!!! I'm super super picky about Mexican food.... Delicious every time, great and fast service,... accommodate for dietary requests(I can?t have tomatoes and they help me with the best options!), so satisfying!! It was my besties birthday we had a party of 7 but I know how it is in the hospitality industry so I tried to helm the table we... ordered our drinks they sent another employee to the table to have us change our order my party changed I kept it the same Iknow the drill lol the service was good I had to tip on anoter check because we spilt the bill they don't let you pay in cashand tip on a card and she was nice thanks for dealing with us. 2 words. Taco Loco! This should be the signature meal here. The menu doesn't give this gem enough credit. Its an oversized Taco... with chicken, beef and shrimp cooked to tender perfection! It contains a medley of tomatoes, zucchini, onions and cheese sauceto tie it all in. The crispy homemade shell is my favorite. Not the crispy crunchy taste you'd expect, more like a layered,almost flaky shell. Very unique. This is my go to order here, I have not tried anything else and have been going to all theirlocations for years! I have made all my friends believers! Chips are always fresh and served warm. Let's talk about theirMargaritas ????. Hands down the best in town. When I say the best, that means they are NOT watered down. Very tasty and blendedwell. Happy Hour is the best deal. Dined in once and did take out once since covid. In my opinion dine in is much better, I didfeel safe with social distancing. Staff wore masks. They marked off tables to place appropriate spacing of patrons. They alsohad a QR code for those who wanted a touch less menu experience. Don Ramon's Mexican restaurant was a different place from other Mexican restaurant's. The inside of the restaurant was your... typical atmosphere with the Mexican music playing on the back. The menu food pictures was another story. These pictures showedthat the food preparation had a chef touch; therefore, the plates were going to be pricey. Don't mind the plates price if thepresentation is back up with a good flavoring food. All I can say from this experience at Don Ramon's Mexican restaurant: thepresentation was a 10 but a 7 on the food taste.
