Unfortunately, this sandwich shop falls short of expectation. As others have said, Market Basket sandwiches are just as good and... taste great, if not better, and much cheaper. That said, the BEST sandwiches and subs in town are at family and locally owned,?Family Deli? in Maynard and almost all locals knows that. I would have welcomed this addition to town and would have been happyto become a patron of this sandwich shop in addition to the others if the quality was better and the prices were lower. Read more

Jersey Mike?s has stiff competition in Maynard. I love the staff here, and the atmosphere is wonderful, but the food is woefully... overpriced. More than TWELVE dollars for a SEVEN inch sub, with portions that are less than that even of Subway (although thequality of the food is better). Family Deli is THE place to go for a sub in this part of the suburbs, but bread quality aside,you will always find a, lower-priced sub even across the street at Market Basket, especially their steak and cheese!! Pretty good basic sub but I think market basket is a better value and family deli is a better quality sandwich. Comparing to MB... I think the bread is better here and the variety of sandwiches is better. Way better than subway obviously. Read more
