Super place to eat just wish the wait staff was a little friendlier. The food is awesome!
So let me start out with the good, the owner Curtis was friendly and very outgoing offering samples of appetizers. The waitress... was attentive and worked to get our drinks and food to us. Unfortunately that's where it ends.. My wife and I both had a 1/2rack of ribs and found them inedible. They were extremely hard almost too hard to cut with a knife and in my estimation wereleft over and had just come out of the deep fat fryer. Before dinner rush. I ordered a Corona w/lime. It was a thin slice, but I mushed it up good because I wanted lime in my Corona.... Took a sip. Odd smell. Asked hubby to sniff and taste. He said it's the lime. It was in a mason jar. I liked it in a mason jar.Another sip, pulled lime out. Smelled it. The dang lime was spoiled!! How long does it take a lime to spoil. Pushed aside myCorona. Hubby's ribs were so hard they barely cut with a knife. Took a while. Found tiny pieces of meat to pull off and eat. Ithink advertising St. Louis Ribs is a moniker for "I don't know how to cook ribs" or maybe "we gave you yesterday's ribs becausewe're getting ready for the dinner rush." Fried catfish, plenty of it, just raw fish flesh in the middle. Yuck. Had to remindwaitress I had slaw. Got vinegar slaw not mayo slaw I ordered. Went to watch The Jetts tonight band was on fire!!! Totally awesome music top notch performance!!! Wish I could say the same... for the restaurant. Called and reserved a table for 12 only to get there and find out I had no table and the waitress I spoketo earlier lied out both sides of her face. Sent my guest home why have them stay and spend a couple hundred bucks in a placethat doesn't appreciate their customers. Doesn't deserve one star but can't leave review otherwise!!!! Read more
Very nice atmosphere, pleasant server. Good food, generous portions.
Neat place found while riding my motorcycle. I got the pulled pork with fried okra and homemade chips. Everything was great.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. What a pleasant surprise! The girls greeted me at the door like I was family. Plenty of choices on... the menu. We ordered barbeque sandwiches, crinkle cut fries, and onion rings all around. Everyone enjoyed it! Barbeque wassliced, well cooked and had a great smoked flavor! All was hot and fresh! They have a choice of BBQ sauces. Everything wasclean. The place had a down home country feel. Fast and friendly service. It was yummy! Read more
Passing through the area and stopped for lunch. The brisket was tough, tater salad lacked flavor and everything else was less... than par. I would not recommend for BBQ. Other menu items might be ok, I would not return to give it a try Read more
