The staff is really pleasant! Amanda the bartender is super cool and helpful with just about anything you recommend drink wise.... My best friend had me hooked on a king island sub cola for pineapple (thank us later) She had me SOLD on the smoked old fashionhowever and I must say… AMAZINGLY GOOD! They have some of the best wings simply because they are smoke and all the food ismade to order daily. One of our favorite local restaurants! We’ve gone several times for spur of the moment date nights & always been so happy that... we did! The staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming. The food & drinks are always amazing and their prices are extremelyreasonable. Each time we go we try something different & each time they out-do themselves. This past Saturday we had theirhummus platter, smoked wings, street corn, smoked meatloaf, chicken sandwich, a local beer, & their banana cream pie moonshine.Everything was incredible!! Best wings I’ve ever had. So good in fact that after you have them, you’ll probably never wantother wings again! If you haven’t been to one of their monthly supper club events- you really should! UNREAL. The food & drinkpairings will blow your mind & leave you counting down the days until the next one! (Like we are!) In fact, we had a familyemergency the night of the last supper club & had to show up 35 minutes late. I called & spoke with the chef. She was so kind &they really went out of their way to make sure that we received the full meal (with drinks) from start to finish, even takingthe time to explain each course & ensuring that we had time to enjoy & savor each dish without feeling rushed. As a family of 8,on a budget, we truly appreciate our time there. Sometimes you just need to get out, have a break, & unwind. We happened upon Freddy Js and so happy that we did. We sat at the bar and right away Liz was an absolute hoot! In today’s... world, it’s so hard to find genuine people; Liz is one. The food was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich (without thebun because I’m gluten-free) with homemade chips and my husband had the special, which was home smoked beef brisket on abrioche bun with fries and homemade pickles to die for. My husband and I decided to go here last Saturday after seeing good reviews on Yelp. Boy did we have a great time! Our... bartender Liz is the best!! She made a smoked old fashioned that was so unique and delicious! She was so friendly and made ourtime there so much fun.The food was simply amazing we ordered the pork belly appetizer as recommended by Liz and Wow it was Just delicious! Not to mention the smoked wings and the Burger was was phenomenal! The atmosphere was casual and everybodythere was getting along and having a great time as well. My friend took me here for my birthday. The food was delicious. We had caramelized Brussels sprouts, Freddy Js short ribs,... shrimp and grits, seasonal bread pudding and the s’mores pie. Freddy J's is an absolute gem! The food is soooo good and wonderfully prepared. I have named it my new local favorite place to... eat. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is amazing.
