China Garden is no longer an all you can eat buffet, you can dine in or take out, their buffet is pay by weight. Their food is... fresh and hot with plenty to choose from. China Garden still has their hibachi grill as well. Very clean and relaxing nicecalming music, and they added some outside tables for nicer weather. Nice changes with the exception of eating from styrofoamand a small plastic fork. The service is as always friendly, inviting, and thankful for your business. Read more
I'm with the crowd here. This place is the last remaining Chinese restaurant in town and they know it, everything is sub par.... I'd gladly pay by the pound IF they had hot, ready-to-eat options or...any OPTIONS at all. The owners should visit New ChinaBuffet in Newport to get a few ideas... The food use to be good, service was terrible my wife and I could not get refills , Food was cold and dry, we recently returned... hoping that it was better but unfortunately come to find out they charge by the pound and no longer have buffet So feels moretake out order restaurant. I would rather drive to Mt. sterling where there is actual Chinese buffet and with great service andgreat food and great price. Wish someday Maysville may once again have a great Chinese restaurant. NOT A BUFFET. They charge by the pound. Food was cold and tasted bad. Teriyaki chicken was dry and tough. Sweet and spur chicken... was bitter and cold. Sesame chicken sauce was watered down which made the chicken soggy. You get a can of soda no refills.Disappointed is an understatement. Will not go back. I regularly get lunch here throughout the week. Without the all you can eat buffet anymore the value has significantly dropped,... but I can understand the adaptation. I normally fill the Styrofoam clamshell and the price ranges between 12-14, including anoptional drink. The food is fresh, my son likes the coy pond, and I enjoy the music. Read more
