I know this is a casual place but the last two times I've been here I've gotten a salad (the second time hoping they would... redeem themselves) and they were both awful. All of their salads are made from the bag mix you get from the grocery store withthe little shredded carrots and cabbage bits. The first time, some pieces of lettuce were even wilty and brown on the edge, Ijust picked them out. It's one thing to use a prepackaged iceberg lettuce as maybe a side salad base but when the whole entreeis a big chicken salad, I expect it to be made with a mix of fresh, darker greens. Had a reservation for myself and my wife for our anniversary. About half full, so not terribly busy. Sat with our menus for 20... minutes before a waitress even bothered to say I'll be with you shortly. 10 minutes later, waitress still hadn't been back tous, so we got up and walked out. 30 minutes, no glass of water, no bread, no stopping to take our drink order, NOTHING! it was truly the worst service i?ve ever experienced. i come from a serving job so i try to be very understanding, but our... server had a bad attitude from the start& our table was sticky when we sat. my bf ordered a bottle beer& after 40 minutes of himnot getting our beer or our server not even approaching us, we left. i will never be back& will highly discourage everyone iknow from coming. It was terrible. 3 people ordered the walleye special. One person sent his back after the first bite. He was the smart one... because the 2 that ate it got sick. I ordered the strip steak special with mushrooms and jalepenos. I don't know what was worse,that the steak was so tough and full of grizzle or all the jalapeno seeds that made the steak to hot to even taste. Either way,I didn't eat much of it. It?s was horrible. Took 10 minutes to get seated. Then another 10 to get a waitress to take our order. Once our order was in, it... took 2 hours before we got our food. And my sister got a salad, but had to wait another half hour before she actually got it.When she got it, the lettuce tasted like it had pesticide on it. The bathrooms. They?re awful. You have to side step to get in.And the bathroom light wasn?t on so you had to pee in the dark. And had to play scavenger hunt to find the toilet paper. Read more
All you can get crab legs and chicken malinise. Food was delicious. Didn't have to wait for the next bunch of crab legs. ... Serve was timely. Out door seating. They had several specials and a few of us had the crab-stuffed walleye. It was absolutely excellent. The others in our party had... the prime rib special and loved that. They offered garlic roasted red potatoes and those looked good. The entrees took awhilebut our salads and bread for the table were brought out in a few minutes. The food was worth waiting for.
