Love Maywood Pancake House! Everytime we come on a weekend for breakfast we have to wait, that is how popular they are. If... you can come on a weekday, we usually come before a doc appt or after depending on the appt time ????, much less people. Or goearly, before 9am, on the weekend ???? . Service is excellent and quick. Everyone is always friendly and helpful even thoughthey are super busy. Vegetarian and Vegan options for everything. I have a diary intolerance so they are the only pancakes,waffles or french toast I can have. Only place to get a egg cream with soy or a vegan milkshake. Things I miss! ???? FrenchToast with Bacon and Eggs. I've switched between pancakes, waffles and french toast but always get the sunnyside eggs andbacon/sausage. They make the sunnyside perfect eveytime! Most places it's always over done... Also switch between bacon orsausage hehehe Hubby always get a special of the day, Huevos Ranchero or the Panco Villa omelette. Whatever dish has frijoleshe is ordering. He loves their frijoles and the home fries. I dont drink coffee so I get tea instead. And love that theyoffer many different teas, caffeinated or herbal, just ask. Read more
Four not five because they had outdoor seating with no umbrellas and people kept getting asked to sit outside during a heatwave.... If the umbrellas were up sure but not in the scorching sun on the sidewalk. Food was standard and service was okay. The interiorwas welcoming and clean and it?s a good spot if in town and need a sit down option. Read more

Amazing place for family for breakfast. Went on a Sunday morning, it can get pretty busy, so expect some wait time. We were... seated by a really nice lady and they have such great breakfast options: tried the make your own pancake and French toast(delicious and perfectly cooked), even the omelette was really good. Good coffee and the service was pretty quick. Woulddefinitely recommend. Read more
Visited on a Sunday and didn't have a long wait. The server was very friendly and attentive. Some orders came out different from... what we ordered (iced -> hot, vanilla -> chocolate), but it wasn't a problem because the dishes were good. And the coffee wasvery nice. I think I will probably visit more than once. Read more
This is a great local place with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was very filling and prices were reasonable. The coconut... pancakes were very unique and the waffle was delicious. On a beautiful sunny day, you can enjoy the outdoors and if you havefurry friends, they are welcome to sit by you outside as well. Definitely a great find. Read more
Great place! My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday for brunch. I had the berry merry pancakes. It was good. The dishes served... here look simple but they are good. Our service was great. Our food came out so fast. Our server was attentive and friendly.Please note, this place closes at 3 p.m. Also, the restaurant is quite small inside. It was very packed when we arrived but wewere seated immediately. In conclusion, all was well. We will come back soon! Read more
Thank the Lord a place like this still exists! Don't get me wrong I love a good Cappuccino in a cafe however there is nothing... like a porcelain mug with good Bunn made Coffee atmosphere. What a great down right American Breakfast. Vintage signs and Oldtimers everywhere. You cannot ask for more! My waitress was the type you can tell has been in the business before I was crappingmy diaper. The type you can tell she is damn proud of her son because he Volunteered to Serve, she is definitely non filteredand has that Jersey accent to boot, she talked to me like we've known eachother for years. (Sweet Heart, Darling, Sugar) Thefood was amazing. I don't know why this place doesn't have a waiting list every morning. You can't put a price on experience,however they charged less than an IHOP and it left me wanting to give extra Tip.
