I dont even know what I ate here lol. My girlfriend is the reigning undefeated champion of picking out restaurants and I dont... even look at the menu anymore. I haven't ordered my own food since I met her. What I can comment on is how delicious the foodwas and the service I recieved and it was 5 stars. It has a seafood deli and a small seating area in the back. So it can getpacked easily and you may have to wait for seating. Intimate seating and delicious food. We have heard great things about Seafood Gourmet and decided to give the takeout a try! It was fantastic and so reasonably... priced. The lobster bisque was so creamy and different than any other one we?ve tried. We also got the breaded fish & chips andthe Crab Crusted Black Bass with bok choy special. Highly recommend! Read more
OMG! HUGE PORTIONS!! We visited during lunch, so there was a short wait! Dinner, after 4, the line is wrapped around the... building, so make reservations. Restaurant seating is limited, but service is efficient. Fresh seafood & deli items infront; restaurant through deli! Ask for Stacy, she will take good care of you! I was walking with my baby in the morning and passed by this store by 9am. Saw some nice fresh fishes already out and decided to... get a slice or two. The scallops are very tasty. The fish fillets and scrimps are very fresh I will definitely come back. Read more

Small fresh fish market and restaurant tucked away in the heart of downtown Maywood across the street from the Pancake House.... Really huge shrimp plus they carry all the most popular premium species of seafood. Their scrod is reasonably priced anddelicious. Table seating is available in the totally separate restaurant located at the rear of the store. Prices are a bitpremium, but then you get a bit higher grade of seafood. Tonight I had the Lobster bisque soup (best in a long time and actuallumps of lobster) and the Red Snapper & shrimp w/rice special. It came in a real light, but flavorful red sauce w/capers. Niceportion and it was excellent. It was Friday night and a full house. No tables open so they sqeezed me in to the only table inthe store area. Good service. On street parking plus the municipal lot a short walk down and around the corner. Oh, forgot tomention. It's a BYOB restaurant. Suggest you make reservations, especially on Fridays.. Read more
I was in the mood for fish and ordered from this restaurant. I called in my order of haddock, rice and spinach. When I arrived I... parked on the street nearby. I walked into a fish market. I told the man my name and I paid and left. When I dug in the rice andspinach was real good. The haddock was ok tasting. I definitely want to try their shrimp next time. Read more
