The BBQ smell when we entered was strong and made our mouths water. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich and was very... disappointed, he didn't even finish it. The sauce was too sour and the meat too tough. I tried the taco salad and wasdisappointed that it was shredded iceberg lettuce considering the salad bar had a nice array of leafy greens. The taco shell wasdripping with oil and something just didn't taste right when I got near the bottom of the salad, so I didn't finish it either.No to go boxes needed. Read more
Fun little sports bar. Not a large beer selection, but the food is good. There is a family section and bar side. The staff... were attentive and pleasant. The Shoe Box gives out $2 coupons when you purchase footwear. So it was easy choice for a lunchstop. Has the local beer - Spotted Cow. Read more
The waitress asked three times of Wed be seating outside. Three times we said no, as they didn't serve outside. Never seen such... idiocy before. That said...drinks were wonderful, food was hot and tasty and the bartender was friendly. For a group of 12 toshow up and be met with indifference was shocking. Salad bar was little but delicious! Didn?t care for the smoke flavor in the wings, just a personal preference. The Bloody Mary... was delicious, and the service was great! Always make your own blue cheese dressing if you value your wing quality. It?s a stepup, true game changer. That ranch is clutch though, so good! Read more
4 years later, still in my top 5 places to go. No one in Madison knows how to make proper hot wings, this place? Hands down the... best, sucks you gotta drive a bit to get them but it's worth it. 4 years I've been getting the same thing. Wings and fries withbeer cheese. Got the Walleye once, was delicious. Got the stoner bowl once, what a silly but yummy dish. Got a new York steakonce, was super average and wasn't happy with it. That's 4 years with 1 bad thing. Pretty damn good track record. Read more
It is one of the coolest places covered with sports memorabilia, the bathroom is wallpapered with baseball cards. Wiffle ball... field in the back that looks like a small major league field. Read more
