Being from out of town, I constantly can?t wait to visit breakfast spots. Corner bakery is a very popular favorite back home.... Visiting this location was absolutely awful. For example, my husband picked up a broom that was nearby and started sweeping nearour table because we had to step over the large amounts of trash. Every table in the restaurant was filthy so we cleaned ourown. The lady who took our order was sooo sweet and the food was decent but Omg! the environment was unacceptable. I have never had a bad meal here. I love the turkey sandwich, broccoli cheese soup, the coffee, and the overnight oats. It's all... so very good! The patio is a great place to enjoy your meal too. It's covered and usually gets a nice breeze going through. Ihave sat out there with a cup of coffee and enjoyed a rain shower while catching up with an old friend. Expensive. I don?t mind paying for good food but this place is overpriced for what you get. Incredibly slow (didn?t come during... lunch or dinner rush) Rude employee. My pet peeve is when an employee acts annoyed that I?m ordering food?!? ???? Like I?minconveniencing her by making her do her job. This was definitely a one and done for me. One star does not even Justify the horrible service !! The latest employees they have been hiring are just not it . They simply... give corner bakery such a horrible reputation. One of the managers that was working when I went last name morales was very rudefor absolutely no reason ! I ordered a sandwich and it came with two pieces of chicken and when I told him politely if maybethey hadn?t noticed he said ?we weigh and portion the chicken the only thing you can do is order extra chicken and that?s anextra charge? I thought hm I shouldn?t have to pay extra for something I already bought that should?ve come with it but I said?okay no problem how much is the extra side? and he left without saying anything and never came back. I went up to the counterand he was already doing something else so I said ?sir did you see how much the extra chicken was ? he said ?yea five bucks?first of all how rude and childish I don?t understand how he has that position if he is so clearly unprofessional when I didnothing to provoke him. Good for a quick bite to eat or on the go food. Our food came out hot and tasty. Got a panini, Chicken Pomodori, with mixed... greens salad and was on point. Place was clean and not over crowded either. Read more
Fresh, fast, delicious. Food was amazing. Coffee was on point - iced and hot. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Anaheim... Scramble sans bacon, (blasphemy!). It was even better than it looks. Oatmeal was a surprise contender for best-in-class,especially with the fruit mixed in. Hubs had old faithful with pancakes, eggs and bacon - it did not disappoint. Really good food, the salad had a little too much crushed red pepper flakes, but overall delicious!
