I called today at around 3:30 to order a couple of large sandwiches. The girl who answered kept cutting me off when I was trying... to tell her what I wanted. She was rude and seems to dislike her job. Understandable , but she knew what she signed up for. Igave it 2 stars because my family likes the subs from here. I?ll be back, but not for awhile. Next time I call , and if I?mgiven the same treatment. I?ll just hang up like I should have today. Read more

My first time here The gal taking the order was awful. It got to the point I was afraid to ask a question. Never smiled or... said thank you. But when the locals came in, her whole attitude changed. My Italian sandwich was good. The small is around 4inches. My pickle covered almost 1/2 of it. A medium is about 8 inches. But they are small. My soup was cold and water-like. Notmuch flavor. I haven?t been to Firehouse in a while and I?m telling you, I was not disappointed this past Sunday! It was 2 of us and when we... approached the counter the 3 workers were very friendly! They kept recommending different sandwiches, like the Italian and theclub.. the hipster, surfer, cool dude with long, dirty blonde hair was a friendly cashier! Ordered Meatball meal Bread was hot but tomatoe sauce and meatball was lightly warm. No hand soap in bathroom, no sweet tea.... Had to go remind employee to make tea. I've been coming to this location for about 2 years now and this was the first time mysandwiches were not piping hot. Employees during this shift need improvement Read more

Food is decent as it goes for Sub but the service is below standards. No etiquette or approachability in regards to offering... sales service. I understand we all have bad days but the Young Lady taking orders offered awful customer service, I?ll make theking drive next time and visit the N. McAllen franchise. Read more
