Ive never had a problem with this place. The food is good. Im waiting for my order as im writing this and I had came in asking... for several gorditas. It was 11:40am. I came in asking if they were still giving breakfast. One of the girls in the back said"no ya no". I made no big deal about it since most places don't serve breakfast after 11. But im still here and then I heardthat same girl tell the cashier "si podemos hacer desayuno si no esta avanzando". There was only one table infront of me and anorder behind me with 2 cooks in the back talking up a storm. It wasn't busy at all but if youre gonna have that attitude and belazy atleast dont say that outloud while the customer who asked for something is still in the building Read more
I went to the on military highway, it a small little restaurant with very few tables. I ordered, pork in adobo, chicharon in... salsa verde, bean with queso fresco, and picadillo.The Gorditas come with both red salsa and green salsa, served on the side.Picadillo is basically ground beef cooked with vegetables and seasoning, some places put tomato in it, this place doesn't. Ifyou don't eat meat there is choice's available.Besides the bean and cheese, they are running a special Gordita with nopales, (cactus) which is a traditional thing to eat during Lent. If I could rate 0 stars I would... we arrived and tables and floor was dirty. the two ladies in the kitchen area were not even... busy for the restaurant to be so filthy. We places our order, our gorditas had less than half of the portion they typicqlly fillthem with... they were cold and when we asked if they could please make them right the lady filled them up with other kinds ofmeats. At this point we were so annoyed by that and all the loud music and singing from one of the cooks all we wanted was toeat and leave so we didnt complain. When they finally decided to call us up to the counter to pick up our fideo; the lady dropedthem and just picked them up and gave them like that to my wide which at that point was furious. I ordered gorditas for me and my husband and they put them to go by mistake. I said it was ok since it was no big deal and the... woman kept on insisting and being loud in front of ppl and saying in the receipt it said to go. I told her once again that ididnt say that and that it was ok. When i open the bag and see my food they literally had about a tablespoon of the chicharronen salsa i had ordered in each gordita! Less than 1/3 of the gordita had chicharron en salsa. So i went and asked if they couldadd more and the women in the back were gossiping and starring at me. I ignored it went back to the table and started eating myfood when this other women starts cleaning the table in back of us with windex , the smell was all around us ,i tasted gorditaswith windex for the first time and it was not the best taste let me tell you lol. So No never going back to this place again!HORRIBLE service, the women were very rude and very LOUD. Dont waste your time eating here theres more gorditas dona tota intown!!
