Says breakfast special on window. It's a hit ot miss. Depends really what waiter is attending sometimes the hot salsa and chip... are served. better off with the delicious breakfast special options at Zamoras who always has great consistency. La justicadoes have unmatched pollo suizo. Just annoyed $9 for 2 eggs and 2 tortillas was not what I thought a special is. On my receiptit doesn't mention special either Read more

The huevos rancheros here are delicious, for 6.23 you get 3 eggs, potatoes and beans (the delicious bacon was 1.82 extra). The... eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsas they use for the eggs is delicious it will enhance the taste of yourbreakfast. The refried beans taste great, the bacon was cooked perfectly, the potatoes didn't have a great taste to them theyhave no flavor they could add some seasoning for color and taste, the tortillas are just okay but flour tortilla are better thancorn here. The staff is very friendly, they care about their customers and the place is lively decorated. While you wait theybring you chips and hot salsa(as in warm salsa it's delicious). The coffee here is always hot and good tasting. Overall agreat place for breakfast and i think they are offering Groupon if you use the App, which makes their prices even smaller. Read more

The tortillas were really good. The restaurant felt musky, the chicken tlapeno was okay. It was extremely greasy and came as... pictured. A total mess all over both dishes. The chorizo and queso was good with flour tortillas. That dish I expected it to begreasy so there was no biggy, but I have never had greasy tlapeno soup served like that. There was also no chile in it so it isnot like as advertised. The service was okay. The place was very short staffed but everyone tried the best that they could.Prices were fair. Tea is not freshly brewed but it doesn't taste too bad. I might go back to try their breakfast because Ireally liked the tortillas. Overall 3 out of 5. Read more

I've eaten at Justicia before covid and I remember the food being really tasty. So this is post covid and the food was more of a... 2-star experience. I used a Groupon this time and ordered it to go.... Fairly simple order... enchiladas verdes and thefajitas. My wife said the fajita was good.. nothing over the top but good. She said the same for the rice and beans. I had theenchiladas verdes and I was a little disappointed. I love enchiladas verdes with a tomatillo base...I didn't taste that tangy, slightly sour taste of them (maybe needed more salt?) Plus, the bottom of the enchiladas were so soggy they would simply breakapart when I would pick them up with a fork. The filling was shredded chicken which is a bad idea because those release morewater which combined with the salsa added up to soggy enchiladas. Granted....I did take out...maybe eaten right when made theywould've been better? I don't know...but the texture was very soggy. Overall decent place...prices are good...food might be hitor miss...and if you're doing enchiladas don't do to-go. Read more

For me personally this is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in McAllen. Everything they serve tastes fresh and delicious.... The wait staff are always helpful and nice. The Caldo de Res ( Beef Soup ) is superb but my favorite dish here is Carne Guisada. They alsi have great lunch specials.. NOTE: It's restaurant a bit hidden but just find the Fire Station on Dove Avenue and North23rd and it's right behind the Station. This place is well worth checking out. Read more

Update: 02/09/2020 Been consistently goong here once a week for over two... years...withing the last couple months the portion sizes and quality of food has gone down. Last time we had fajitas the fooddidnt even cover the pan and was burnt , the guacamole was almost liquefied . Waitstaff was great as usual. Read more
