This is a classic roadhouse restaurant with a good food and beverage menu. We found the beer selection a bit limited, but... sufficient. We didn?t check the wines. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food isn?t special. We ordered ourburgers medium and they came well done, with very few condiments. The hot sauce selection is limited to Tabasco only. Therestaurant isn?t very noisy, which is a plus. It?s a decent restaurant and perfectly fine for a basic meal. The service here was exceptional, the food not so much. The bartender was incredibly hospitable, very sweet with great... conversation and decent drinks. The food that came out of the back on the other hand was not good. The first steak they broughtto me was incredibly salty and not cooked properly. The manager was kind enough to have them recook a new one without theseasoning, it did not taste proper. I'm thankful for the drinks I appreciate the customer service but ultimately bought a steakthat was not eaten Salad was good, a bit salty as well. Excellent service, attention, cool beer, nicely served dishes, and very hot food.
In just a few words, our (wife & I) experience was bad; we won't be going back. We visited at about 4pm and they were not busy.... We ordered an onion ring appetizer which arrived quick enough, but it was exceptionally greasy. About 30mins after placing theorder, the waitress came back and shared that our order had been lost and we needed to re-order (how does a non-busy restaurantlose an order?). We both had ordered their top-priced, highest quality bone-in rib-eye. It was miserable in quality. My wife hadordered rare but it was raw; unsafe to eat. Mine was med-rare and cooked according. Rather than complain, we decided to sharemine and take hers home to "re-cook" and give it to our dogs. But mine was very tough to cut - even with a steak knife! Lots offat and sinew made for amount of edible meat. Only about 25-30% of our steaks was safe and/or good to eat. I truly hope ourexperience was an exception to the rule.
