Sat at the chefs bar top and got to sample some Mac and cheese that had perfectly cooked bacon as well as beautifully melted... cheese with some kind of breading on top not sure on the type of cheese but very delicious. For an appetizer I had the QuailKnots which are apparently Quail legs/thighs over an Asiago polenta (which is basically a cheese porridge) and a pomegranategastrique. ( Which is basically a caramelized pomegranate sauce) They all pair very well with each other and I found the bestway to eat was to have a little bit of everything insde your mouth instead of placing one thing in your mouth at a time. I'venever had Quail before but this was a very delicious bird. Succulent and supple I'm very happy that my first experience withquail was here. As a big food guy I highly recommend sitting at the chefs bar if you love food because there's something aboutbeing able to see your food being cooked that makes you appreciate it more. The chefs also change gloves for cooking constantlywhich is a very good sign that they keep things sanitary and cross contamination to a bare minimum. As an entree I had somethingoff menu as it was limited in quantity at the time but I had a fresh yellow tail and over all the fish itself was an 8 out of10. In my opinion they used a lot of spices that while great on their own overpowered the fish if only a tiny bit. I love a goodyellow tail myself and it was perfectly cooked in every way. It laid atop a sauce of some kind (wasn't on the menu so I couldn'tsay) and I found myself drizzling the sauce itself over the fish because I was very fond of it. Unfortunately I was a littleoverzealous with the Quail that I forgot to take a picture but here is the yellowtail. All in all a place I highly recommendbecause so far it is the closest to very fine dining I have tried in the valley and I hope they continue what they're doing formany years to come. The filet was tender and tasty, veggies were grilled and crispy. The stew had a nice smokey flavor. Last but not least macaroni... was scrumptious. It was a family style serving and I had to restrain myself from eating it all.???????? Read more
I adore this place. The best seat in the house is the Chefs table. This visit we had Chris as our server. He couldn’t have... been nicer or more accommodating! He is excellent. Shrimp cocktails stole my heart this time around. Paired excellent with thecarrot colada. We were celebrating my cousins birthday. His personalized menu won him over. Thank you!! Read more
The service was phenomenal, our server Sebastian was awesome! The food presentation was impressive, we had a reservation but... chose to sit at the chef’s bar in order to see the preparation process while we enjoyed our meal… the chefs didn’tdisappoint, beat seat in the house! 5 stars all the way around! Food/Desserts were absolutely amazing best place to try duck for your fist time and quail nuts as for drinks ?? I highly... recommend the lavender drink. Took our two yr old daughter along and got some amazing mac an cheese for her as well so kids areno problem. Definitely will be going again soon to try the rabbit ????????. Read more
I wish I could give it at least 6 Stars!!! ???????????? Great atmosphere!! Great modern decor. And great amazing food cooked to... perfection! Great place to bring a date or the family or to just treat yourself. Staff is professional and super friendly!! Ifyou sit at bar you can basically get a live cooking show as you eat! Best pork ???? chop I’ve ever had. Quail was great. Theirfried chicken ???? was amazing and so was the mashed potatoes ????!! Mac and cheese ???? is also amazing. The area has all around good food, and this spot didn’t disappoint either! The Ahi Tuna was perfectly cooked and like butter.... Slightly topped with black and white sesame seeds and surrounded by a puddle of what only would could think of is teriyaki andsoy sauce.. at the least.. from the appetizer to the entree to desserts.
