My father called in an order today over the phone & the meat had so much fat you can make a taco out of all that fatty chewy... meat. They barley put any cilantro & some of the limes were rotten. This place has become a joke. Customers leaving because No one comes to take their order. The girl just walks pass the people... wanting to order and ignores them. It was 2 elderly men. We are here right now. Quality food is very bad now not to mention theservice. Wait time is very bad also. And only 3 customers. The young man a cook is the one that ended up taking our order. The food here is very poor quality. The preparation it takes versus the wait time is dreadful. Usually after waiting 25 minutes... I'd expect a better prepared meal. This franchise is the neglected once grey model that most Valley business owners suffer as aresult of poor ownership and management. I don't recommend any of my people to eat at taqueria El zarape ever again. This iseven more evidence that a name will not sell itself any longer in my community. Shame on you El zarape for even putting thisdreadful food out to customers. You guys will be better off just closing up shop. The flavor of these tacos is very mediocre, the trompo tacos tasted nothing like actual trompo meat, the bistec meat was very... dry and so was the mollejas, overall poor flavor and small portions. The salsa were just okay nothing good or bad, the grilledonions were also just okay. Overall i wouldn't recommend this place for tacos especially in this area where there are manyoptions. Read more
I ordered through a delivery app, the tacos were good but the cilantro, onions and lemons were rotten. The little bags smelled... terrible. Completely ruined the experience! (Can?t eat tacos without the fixings!) I Don?t think I?ll be ordering again. Read more
HORRIBLE manager! she literally YELLED at my husband. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE attitude! asked for a refund and she took her sweet time... to finally get it to me. she was trying to get after the lady who took my order and wouldn't take accountability for HER beingso extra. ruined a restaurant me and my family would visit often.
