Just found this place today, wasn?t sure what it was, But they do classic chicken sandwiches, tenders and ribs. It was VERY... good. I can only comment on the chicken sandwich and fries. They make it to order so the sandwich and fries are fresh and hot!Chicken was big and and juicy as others have reviewed. The coleslaw is a nice balance to any heat. You do choose your heat levelno matter what you order. I like heat but did the medium because the heat seemed to be hyped. Medium was pleasant but I?ll trythe texas hot next time. Apparently if you order the hottest heat you have to sign a waiver! The chicken sandwich, fries and adrink were $14 and change. I would go back for sure! Oh try the limeade, it?s really good! The sweet potatoes are the best!! The sandwich was delicious. The spiciness in the medium was a bit spicy but worth it. The Mac... n Cheese was a dry sticky and dry but the flavor of the Mac was good. Read more
The ribs are great! The chicken strips and chicken and waffles are very good. Great crunch, and you can adjust the spicy heat... level. Fries and sides are good as well! No diet soft drinks, though. Read more
The cookshack, don?t you mean the dope shack?. This place was amazing! I had no idea it was coming here but a buddy of mine... surprised us, and it was all that and then some! As soon as we walked in, we received the warm welcome from the staff which wasextremely pleasant. You don?t get that too much nowadays. After the warm welcome, they were ready to take our order. The staffwas super helpful variety of choices, always had a smile on their face, and made us feel at home. As you can see from thepictures we ordered a couple of chicken sandwiches one with slaw one was spicy but for the most part, it was so tender andjuicy, the chicken melted in your mouth. Fries are on point, crunchy, savory, made you want some more. I ordered the kale saladwith shaved chicken crunchy nuts, juicy tomatoes, and sprinkled with some fresh juicy limes. All in all this place was amazing,the staff was even better, I got some behind-the-scenes pictures and videos of the kitchens and the chefs preparing all of thatdeliciousness. So I actually had to look up this place and what it offered because it's name gives you no clue...but there's a reason why you... have to search for hidden gems. Keeping it simple...fried chicken tenders and sandwiches with waffles...nice southern style.First, props to them having a small bar. A beer feels divine with some truly fiery chicken tenders. And believe you me...theirtenders and their heat are no joke. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich w/coleslaw....first thing I have to say is the chickenbreast is huge...juicy ...and probably a pair of double D's. It is a quite large piece for the sandwich which is perfect. Thisplace has levels of heat...and make sure you listen to the waitresses when they say how hot things are. I didn't believe herwhen she said that Texas Hot means just that, because everything is bigger and hotter in Texas. I ordered the 5 piecetenders...some medium and some Texas hot. I love spiciness...but I definitely needed some ranch to finish the Texas hot becausemy tongue was begging me for a break. However...even with the heat, I still noticed how juicy the tenders were. The tenders cameout piping hot, not overly coated, and juicy. These cooks were spot on with their fry... They also have extra sauces to trywith the tenders...I honestly felt like they weren't needed considering the amount of flavor simply within each tender. Best chicken sandwich I?ve had in the valley. Fries were crispy and tasty. $11 for the plate which is a good value these days. I... ended up putting the slaw on the sandwich which I think added something to it. I?ll be sure to ask for more shack sauce nexttime. I like the bar area - could see myself watching a game here. First time there the employees were very nice and helpful. The chicken was delicious i recommend medium heat. They also gave us... a sample of the ice cream sandwich which was perfect after a great meal. Read more
Great place to get some ribs that fall off the bone very easily and chicken tenders from regular up to burn your mouth! Most... places you ask for heat levels and they really are not hot at all. But this place the heat is true to the levels. The sides werealso very good, especially the coleslaw and Texas caviar. We ordered a family pack at a reasonable price. Read more
