Gotta love a nice rooftop patio setup and it even has taps and food as well! On a recent trip to McCall this was a favorite... spot for during the heat of summer it was cool, mostly shaded, and a great place to break out the books and do some work. Willdefinitely be back! Read more
On a hot summer day the rooftop patio offers shade, misters, a view of the lake, and beer to cool you off! The beer is good and... the food options are good traditional pub fare. If you can make a reservation, do it. There are limited places to eat inMcCall so this place can get busy on the weekends! Read more

There was confusion from the beginning. We asked if we could go to the bar and was told there was an hour wait. I repeated bar... but the hostess looked confused so we turned around to leave and she said we can go to the patio bar and get drinks but no food.We went upstairs to the patio bar and the sign said here is a menu order food with the bartender. After all that we sat down andenjoyed drinks an incredible view of the lake and the best cheese curds I have ever had(I have had a lot) seriously excellent.Maybe we got a new employee or they were just busy. Great location. Many options for seating outdoors. Rooftop was great, with perfect views of the lake. Food was delicious. I had... the elk burger with French fries. It was cooked perfectly. The peach cobler dessert was tasty, and had 3 scoops of ice cream andcaramel sauce. The beer was good, plenty of different styles, from standard ipa's to 10% stouts and Belgium triples. We went to Salmon River brewery for dinner on a Friday night in McCall in early May, so it was fairly easy to get a table. It... was so loud in there just from the acoustics and the background music was turned up enough that we were not able to talk acrossthe table. My wife had what we think was the SRB burger, and I had the elk burger, and we shared the baked macaroni and cheese.It was all very good. Read more
Salmon River is a winner by default! Very poor competition as far as good restaurants in McCall. Staff was friendly and the... food was what you typically expect at a pub. They had some great Cider! Mac and Cheese could use an update, it was prettyblan. Burger was great and wings were good. Chicken pot pie was a fun tasty dish also! I got the cod and chips and it was amazing! My husband got the cod tacos and loved them as well. Very quality food, with a fun... atmosphere to eat outside and enjoy the view. Read more
